Workarounds are not good, there are apps and flows to move screenshots instantly from the default folder to another one, but then you can't edit the screenshot and the apps also runs in background consuming battery. I've sent feedback from the Gallery app as well, and I'm even considering returning the phone as this is unacceptable.

Glad you submitted feedback via the gallery app. Xiaomi.eu is a custom ROM(and this forum is dedicated to it). They aren't connected to Xiaomi the company, who could actually make code changes to the Gallery app to do what you want it to.

You threatening to return the phone is pretty funny btw.

Google has strengthened Play Integrity* protection and our workaround is no longer effective. You can just accept it and use another payment method (like Curve Pay), try using complex root hacks (example) at your own responsibility, or return to an official ROM with the bootloader locked...

Guy clearly assumed custom rom can be customised, bit this eu rom is different, they are not accepting any suggestion for customization nor do anything on that field

I have a xiaomi 12 and heavy battery drain on the latest 2.0.208.0. Can I switch to the stable Rom 2.0 before with the bat "upgrade" in the folder? Without resetting data?. Thanks in advance

It is said in the first post that you should use the "format" bat to downgrade.

Since last ROM, my 12pro is often crashing in Multitasking like popup Windows. I tried with and without storage expansion but still the same problem. Maybe its because of the Memory optimization

For now it's just a beta. Usually we don't release betas (I don't know if there will be a difference, but for now there's not).
We are waiting for ROMs, they are not yet released. We also don't have Android 16-based ROM running for now.

I've just made an account - it's been years since I've used a xiaomi smartphone but I wanted to give the poco x7 pro a try. There are some issues that I'll come back later, for now - please, I beg even, fix the situation with the screenshots and google photos.

PROBLEM: By default, the screenshots folder is inside the "DCIM" folder, and everything inside "DCIM" is backed-up by Google Photos. This is bad, I dont want to upload my screenshot as it wastes storage and I don't want to delete my screenshots later picking them one by one as it wastes time.

PROPOSED SOLUTION: Just like Samsung, give us the ability to change the screenshot folder path outside "DCIM", anywhere else, so then we can chose if we want to back it up to Google Photos or not, instead of being forced to.

There is no way of changing the Screenshots directory. It's referenced by multiple apps and expected to be in a specific location.
Xiaomi used DCIM/Screenshots, but in our ROMs we use Pictures/Screenshots.
Which means: you're not using our ROM (POCO X7 Pro is supported on our Patreon side-project).
