New 2.3.23 Motorola Defy power button menu issue

In Motorola Defy, the power button menu is not working, only toggle screen set to page mode but it works fine, in compact mode.
There is no reboot sub menu options available now.
While charging LED indicator / color does not work.
Battery drains quickly when compare to 2.3.9.

Does the button work OK in other ROMs for your Defy?

Yes its work fine with MIUI 2.3.9. Later version of MIUI, it is not working (2.3.16 and 2.3.23)

This is quite a big bug and no one else has seemed to report it. Strange.
