I have used the recovery chinese twrp 0623, does that mean that this installation has changed my recovery? or do I have to continue to enter recovery through fastboot and ADB?
With my Mi 10 - umi
I have been using the same TWRP - 3.4.2b (0623) - flashing it through Fastboot. I have used it to upgrade also to this week's ROM (20.11.12). Flashing it through Fastboot has NO problems. Sometimes there is a little wait before I can put in my pattern - but it always decrypts.

I shall be waiting for reports before I change over from my secure method of flashing through Fastboot!

Sorry, the procedure on mi note 10 tucana if I come from EU 20.9.17 android 10, doing a dirty flesh wipe from twrp the last weekly rom, then the twrp is decrypted or to install Magisk 21 do I have to do it from USB-OTG? thanks

Recents gestures works on nova launcher? Or only in native launcher. Thanks in advanced

Haven't tested but I think it's default Launcher only. It's implemented by MIUI devs that way.

It still take long time to boot or fixed that?

Only for the first boot which I think it's normal ... After that, any other reboot is fast. (less than 30s)

Any plans to add Mi lite 10 5g ? Stuck with current "stable" where it has some annoying bugs!
Sorry but this cannot be happened , mi 10 lite 5G has only global official rom ..
No released in china so there is no china developer rom for your device ..

Try to install magisk 11 ,than reboot in recovery again and install 21. Maybe it helps

Mi9T/K20 here

What do you mean by magisk 11?
I have magisk manager 8.0.2 and magisk 21.

In Last version 20.10.30 the root worked with twrp 3.4 and magisk 21 ...
It was a bit weird, flash Rom, magisk patched boot and then magisk 21 but it worked. Now no matter what, I get a boot to fastboot when try to root with magisk.
Is this just me or are there solutions?

Other than that, the rom release itself is great as always, very stable and feels smoother than the previous version! Great work as always thank you devs!

I got error on umi Mi10 i'm on 20.11.05 with 0623, i reboot in fastboot (only one even vol+ or vol-)

C:\Program Files (x86)\Minimal ADB and Fastboot>fastboot.exe boot TWRP_umi.img
downloading 'boot.img'...
OKAY [ 2.876s]
booting...
FAILED (remote: Failed to load/authenticate boot image: Load Error)
finished. total time: 2.985s

Now cant Boot on system... HELP ME
I also had that problem with my Mi 10 - umi.
I cannot remember where I saw it but, this is how I dealt with it:
After I flashed the TWRP, I rebooted to system (fastboot reboot).
The next time I went into Fastboot, I only rebooted into the TWRP recovery (fastboot boot [recovery.img])
That seemed to sort it out.
Apparently, if you flash the recovery and then boot into it at the same time, it causes the FAILED error.

I'm not a novice in flashing rom, but on the first page in the changelog I was puzzled by the installation method, not knowing much English, I don't understand it well, hence my question

Mi 10 - umi
I have just gone into the TWRP that was with this week's ROM - not through Fastboot. There was no problem going in, and going back to the system afterwards. But, there is no decryption there, and my file system (sdcard) shows nothing (empty). I noticed that it is version 3.4.0, so it is an older version. So, I think for the moment, I shall be sticking to flashing 3.4.2b from Fastboot, which I know works and seems to be quite reliable.

Haven't received any update from updater app over 4 version. Can't even see what is new, keep saying No Info Available. Now on 2020.11.5 and still can't get update saying No Update. Anyone with Mi 10 Pro having this issues?
Thanks.

Personally i kept twrp 0623 on both mi 10 and Poco f2 pro ..
Just to know for everyone that will keep twrp 0623 on both devices the only way to update and use twrp it's only via fastboot mode and by cmd command .. fastboot boot twrp.img
On next update will see ..
how do you keep your 0623... when flashing this update you will get recovery update. Or did you reflash 0623 after update to latest weekly and if so, now issues?

Mi 10 Ultra: downloaded from OTA app and got md5 checksum error, androidfilehost i read is corrupted too, sourceforge should be ok but server are ****ed...how can i update?? lol

Don't compare "3.4.2b" and "3.4.0" versions, because it's two different TWRP developer. ;)

"3.4.0" = newest TWRP without boot issue with the new kernel BUT decryption is not working at all... (that's why you have to use USB-OTG device to install the next Weekly ROM update).

Anyone have a faster mirror for Mi9 somewhere?
SF and AFH give terrible download speeds and the download fails after a while...

In answer to your first question - yes, the TWRP recovery has changed with this week's ROM - to a version 3.4.0. In my post above, I commented that it does not show my file system. However, you can still boot into your preferred recovery (e.g. 3.4.2b) - fastboot boot [recovery.img], and it still works. I have just done that!

I have not yet tried over-writing this week's recovery, but I shall probably do it shortly. I do not expect any problems, but if there are, I shall report them here.

Delete recovery folder from rom zip ..

EDIT
Personally , i told that before also ..
Deleted recovery folder from both rom zips ( Poco f2 pro and Mi 10 ) and i kept 0623 twrp ..
No need to change it yet ..

Haha, ignore my message if it was frustrating for you. If someone installed, a feedback it s not a bad think. I use xiaomi eu for years, and everytime help and give feedback to people if i has been on it. So, calm down:)))
No problem!
So, Now you can give your feedback as you expected we gave it to you as your servants...
Answer to this stupid question:
HOW is the rom????
It means, about experience. Boot speed and lag on overall experience fixed?
End of discussion!
