the twrp I had was from the LR team but I can't find it anymore
Everyone here tell you what to do and you did always the same mistake...
Download this twrp .. https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=8889791610682877442
Enter fastboot AND DO NOT FLASH the twrp_umi.img ..
Just write ..
fastboot devices ( now do not flash , continue with the below command )
fastboot boot twrp_umi.img ( now twrp will load BUT wait over a second to load )..

Hello people!! I have visited the forum for a few months, but only now have I registered. I have a question: there are some translations missing for Brazilian Portuguese, some options appear in English or Portugal Portuguese. Is there a place where I can help with the translation or communicate the maintainer for corrections? My device is the Mi 9 (cepheus) using the last weekly beta. Thanks!!
I agree you visited the forum but you miss reading the first page of this topic were the translators links are available and waiting for you....lol.

Thank you for the great update.

My Pocophone F2 Pro was running global rom and i managed to install this update through twrp 3.4.2B. Few steps added so i can boot into my twrp (recovery) without the need of fastboot.

Everything seem works fine except for dual apps.

You must start, first, explaining your situation in order people here can understand what you need to do.
We have many experts here, but not any diviner for your purpose.

Yes you can do but do not flash it , the only thing you can do is only .. fastboot boot twrp.img
And wait almost a minute to boot ..
Install update and next week the same thing...

Forget everything you know ...
From now this is the way you can update ..
Remember that you can only boot to twrp , as you did now , nothing more ..
If you try to enter twrp with power buttons or by powermenu you will see a new twrp that it needs OTG to flash update because storage is encrypted and you cannot see files ..
So the best thing is continue as you did now and you'll be fine ..

Good afternoon!
Mi10 version 20.11.5. Installed TWRP "TWRP-UMI-A11-202011102238-ONLY-AFTER-20.11.5". This TWRP does not see the Data, System sections. I can't flash the old version of TWRP "TWRP-3.4.2 B-0623", After installing TWRP" TWRP-3.4.2 B-0623 " fastboot is loaded. What to do???

I have a MiNote10, with the last stable by Xiaomi.eu and TWRP 3.4.0. I'd like to test the last Android 11 release, but I should know if Dualpp is working properly. Moreover, to flash the last release, can I simply format Data and flash the ROM or I need more and different "steps"? Thanks in advance!

Start by downloading this boot img ...
Extract the zip and put this boot.img inside your adb folder , where you have the twrp 0623 ..
Connect your device in fastboot mode , open a cmd and write ..
fastboot devices ( cmd will recognise device )..
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot reboot ( hit enter and hold volume down button so the device will return again to fastboot mode )..
fastboot devices ( again recognition of device )..
fastboot boot twrp.img ( use the twrp 0623 for this step )..
Wait almost a minute or over until device load twrp ..
Now you can flash the new update ..
DO exactly these steps , DO NOT do anything more or less ..

EDIT
If it won't work by changing this boot.img and issue still remains ( I don't believe this ) , you must extract the boot.img from rom 20.11.5 and flash it to your device to boot again ..
So if something goes wrong , put boot.img file from 20.11.5 rom in adb folder , connect to fastboot mode and write in cmd ..
fastboot devices ( device recognition )..
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot reboot
That's it , watch the steps ..

EDIT 2
If all of these it seems chinese to you then DO NOT DO anything and go to buy a type C usb OTG and a usb memory stick , copy rom inside and go to new twrp to flash it..

There seem to be two possible ways that have been discussed here:

1. Using the TWRP recovery that has been included in the latest ROM (20.11.12). (Does it remember your settings?). As this does not decrypt your phone, you can use a USB memory stick to plug into your phone (maybe with an adaptor). This is the 'USB OTG' that people talk about. You can then install the new ROM from this USB.

2. Using another TWRP recovery (e.g. TWRP 3.4.2b - 0623). This allows you to decrypt your phone, and install any zip / img file, e.g. ROM, Magisk directly from your phone's memory. However, this version of TWRP MUST be booted into memory through Fastboot, otherwise your phone may crash!

There may be a third way, which I have not seen mentioned: This is through the built-in app 'Updater'. I assume that this still works. This would be best for those who do not want to 'mess' with their phone, and just want an easy life!
