I dont understand, You're talking now about MIUI 12.. but I told You , i'am still on MIUI11 yet , I came from CN , then I most FORMAT EVERYTHING to go on MIUI11 EU, after that TWRP has troubles, I think MIUI11 EU , makes also as MIUI12 You're talking about, an encrytion, so my TWRP is seeing all encrypted files in my DATA OR INTERNAL STORAGE >> 0 , ANYWAY, did You find any bugs , errors on MUI12 BETA YET? IS IT A REASONABLE " DALY STABLE?
Ok, then I got it wrong.

did you format data before flashing new rom?

Yep I forget to write this, I did a factory reset.
I will try to install the ROM via Miflash, hope it's work
you have to format data via twrp before flashing the rom...not a factory reset at the rom...
(it erase all data inside the cell, so you have to use a SD to put the rom to install)

Yes, you didn't "Format Data" in TWRP (button's name in Wipe menu), it's mandatory. ;)

EDIT: too late, I am. xD

No, it's EOL.

Found one strange bug with Dark Mode setting. I turned it off but after a while, it is automatically turned back on all the time on my Mix2s. I tried restarting many times. The issue still persists.

Since the dark mode seems to mess up with many apps' text and background, i tried to turn it off but it wouldn't stop.

No biggie but hope this one is fixed in the next release. ;)

Thank's a lot, When using catalan language if I touch any notification, start notifications panel or touch anywhere in notifications panel an exception is raised that shuts down the VM. Workaround is using another language (Spanish and english works fine)

So...
Some guys tells you to not format data cause it can brick the phone.
Some guys say you must format data to install the rom...
Which one is it? I still have an encrypted partition.

I'm posting from Mi9, this version is quite good I'm having several reset from the phone its frequently when using Instagram when start on again say something about found my phone have an error.
The dark mode work great but requires more time to adjust to every single app. The new notification/control settings its quite wired
Hoping the bugs will be fixed by the time
Thabks for the great work here

It's there a change to get the the black part in status bar during dark mode fixed?

In whatsapp (Second one created by dual apps), no matter what permission you allowed, the contact list needs to be refreshed every time!
Tile icons in bar won't respond well, you have to tap on them some times to act!

It starts up normal, i type in pin and password restart. Its looping..

any ideas?

thx so much

App behavior is creating problems with whatsapp contacts, every now and then I find myself the numbers and not the names of my contacts, there is no possibility to act in this application, it blocks me from reading contacts in the background, frustrating. Redmi note 7 miui 12.
