UPDATE: I solved using the newest Recovery for MI9 Lite
I installed xiaomi.mi rom.21.1.06 For Umi and everything is ok but now I get an update again with the error that md5 is faulty
Using Mi 10 Ultra (CAS)
Issues that I've been facing
•Slow Charging speeds. Although it shows the turbo charging sign, the speed is infact slower.
•Heating up a lot while charging
•Rebooting the phone forces the navigation buttons to reappear.
•Rebooting is also slow.
•MIUI+ BETA isn't working still.
•Geustures don't work on 3rd party launchers.
•Facebook messenger chatheads not working on 3rd party launchers.
•Camera quality is not as good as the CN rom
•When connected to two WiFi, there is not dual WiFi icons in the status bar, only single WiFi icon.
•Reading mode (for night time screen) doesn't work when playing games now.

Thanks for the hint about DPI change in developer settings. Also can confirm, that beta Magisk v21.2 works.
Gesture navigation within third app launchers doesn't work.
For the guys with a not working camera: I had the same issue. Neither MUI camre nor PixelCam worked. "No connection to camera possible. Reboot advised", reboot didn't solve the problem. The I remembered, I had the buffer fix module via Magisk installed. Removed and camera works.

AOD is off, screen is off, you just touch the screen at the right place and the fingerprint reader activates?

Yes, yes, I tried again.
Totally black screen, there is nothing on the screen, when touched the right place unlocks without problems.
Thanks for this great ROM for my Note 10.
Some of the previous problems have been fixed:
*no issues with recent app view on Nova launcher anymore
*better battery life
*no problem with root and Magisk 21.2

nope. my bootloader is unlocked, I just flashed \lmi_images_V12.0.9.0.QJKCNXM_20200907.0000.00_10.0_cn to try on this version will Xiaomi.eu rom will boot.
this is not first ROM , and I will know to follow instruction and everything but I can not understand why when I flesh TWRP , Format data, Reboot to TWRP , Put ROM in Phone , flash it , and every time phone goes back to TWRP , I can not boot system,I will Try now on Chinese rom...
is version matter?
ROM is A10 , Xiaomi.eu is A11 ?
what should I do?
first, what TWRP to use?

I try format data and got error
failed to mount'/data'(success)
unable to format to remove encryption.
I dont have any password.. nothing
In twrp : mount point /data
File system :emmc
its not F2FS
I try to change to F2FS but got error failed to mount data
update: I used Mauronofio twrp and format data without problem

dirty update including majisk works best as follows:
wipe system & dalvik & cache
install update
reboot recovery
install majisk.zip
reboot system

Wipe system can cause in a lot of issues… better to disable magisk modules before update
When you look at youtube in a horizontal position, the navigation bar disappears and does not return

What did you do?? You ~don't flash that twrp, you ~only boot into it..
What phone do you have? Mi 10? Check this guide:
ALSO, flash the old twrp 3.0.4 (littleturtle) before you start any of all these.
Btw, if you ~can't fix it in any way and have a backup of your data app data and apks, then you may want to do a clean flash from edl mode (if you have a qualcomm device)...
P.S. the last command you enter does ~nothing to your phone, you ~just get some info. It's probably the unstable twrp you've flashed that causes the bricking.

Interesting, I played a while with the display/aod settings, now it works for me too.
I deleted all stored fingerprint patterns, which disables fingerprint recognition. Turned on again storing my fingerprints, but nothing changed. After that I turned on aod, chose a digital clock theme for it, turned on the setting that shows the fingerprint icon on the lockscreen. I turned on and off the screen few times, tried the fingerprint reader, it worked. Then I turned off aod, since then the fingerprint reader works again even if the screen is completely turned off. After all I turned off showing the fingerprint icon on the lockscreen.
I don't know which step was the key, maybe others should check and fine tune the process...
