So now I just noticed that the face recognition does not work Does anyone know what that can be?. Otherwise everything runs great on the MI11

it works fine on my mi11 u cut try clear data for biometric somthing dont remember the name

just found a workorround i just try on my own an then face unlock didnt work any more
ckear all data for miuibiometric
then go to setup off face reconition
delete stored face (it wont look like the are deleted but they are)
now disable face unlock an reboot ur phone an now u can add new faces

So I've done that now. So face can only be put on once. Then you can't take fingerprint

somthing went wrong on ur site i have just done it again an all works fine again here i can add 2 faces an 2 fingerprint at the same time

I just did.. unfortunately still does not work. If I have to enter the password then the face, and if I then want to make a second face it does not work. But then the fingerprint does not work either

The rom failed to update on my Mi 10 Ultra using the windows_updater.bat and know its totally bricked, since fastboot cant write to it "FAILED (Write to device failed (no link))" and it gets detected as device = "unknown". Is there any fix for this?

I had the same issue. But After I restarted my phone Into fastboot my PC saw my phone. (holding voldown and Power button) I did this 5 or 6 times and everytime the update failed. So I changed the usb cable and the first try worked well.

you can use miflash with stock rom and format or use a fastboot image with bat-file and format option. perhaps you will find here what you need. after you have flashed it install xiaomi. eu rom like you want

In most cases you cant downgrade without format data especially a12 -> a11. make backup.

So I cannot move from weekly to stable without passing by stock rom? Or Can I move straight to stable using fastboot mode?

It is possible that the Mi9 will get a Stable MIUI 13.
For example, the Mi8 ended weekly support on MIUI 12 and saw the Stable MIUI 12.5 update

Please use the search function in the right upper corner. There are alot topics for this and some workarounds.

I have the same issue like the others here with this release. The android auto overlay is broken. Maybe you are better with the seach function, because I find nothing helpful.

Typically, you cannot do it without formatting the data partition. However, a very few have succeeded without formatting.
However, it would be advisable to do a good backup (eg. nandroid) to restore, should it not work. Also it would be advisable to backup your apps as well, if you do have to format.

Wifi constantly on? I noticed this thing - when I turn off the wifi, the services do not eat the battery. Can you check it?
2all - Maybe someone will be able to test such behavior? it is also a question for those who install as first_install_with_data_format.

For sure there are some search-field-specialists out there. I didn't find a useful result for the huge icons on AA either.

Poco F3: I went to bed and woke up with my phone turned off and i didn't turn it off my self. Never have had this happened before so i guess there is some kind of tiny bug on this version. I turned the phone on and it had plenty of battery left so it wasn't about some weird draining of the battery at least. Other than that i couldn't say what happened.
