Hi,

Something went wrong with my MI 10 Pro today. I couldn't unlock it. So I decided to restore it. I flash my mi 10 pro with the Mi flashtool to V12.2.5.0.RJAMIXM_20210123.0000.00_11.0_global and the TWRP. Whenever I install the latest MIUI 12.5 I get a boot loop and in TWRP I cannot mount any data. I've tried all available TWRP versions, always with similar results.

Maybe someone have an idea?

I would try so (with deleting all data):

1. Installation TWRP 3.5.1

2. Format Data "YES"

3. Firmware 12.5. (via USB stick OTG)

If it doesn't work for you, Go recovery (pwr+VlmUp during boot) and 'Wipe Data' there. Reboot and wait.

I was on china rom MIUi 12.1 previously and I just change to this eu miui this current version.
Phone feels smoother apps feel faster but battery seems to drain faster too.

I notice the MIUI battery saver is not working as aggressive as china rom.
I.e. my games and most other apps will not have notification when battery optimization is set to "MIUI Battery saver" (chat apps like whatsapp still working with this) which is good, save battery for me and no useless notifications,

But on this version of eu miui, "MIUI battery saver" does not seems to work properly, all apps are still sending notifications in background after closing even those app that has no messaging feature.
is this normal?

Can you check whether dual apps feature works well on your K30 pro. Many thanks
About your dual apps issue, try this:

Go in phone's settings => "Apps" => "Dual apps" => Click the settings icon in the top right corner -> "Delete dual apps' accounts"

Your device will automatically reboot and you can try to create dual apps now. ;)

Anyone knows how can I stop Media Server from draining my battery? I don't have any media files on my phone and I mostly browse and watch Netflix.

Poco F2 Pro.

Open the themes app > my account > themes
Scroll to the end and click import

Yeah when i click on the file it goes into it. Doesn't give me the option to click ok

Don't click the file... Click the small dot after the file name

Your theme looks incomplete though

Forgive me if I'm stupid. But just can see the dot.

Select the theme "file" not the "folder" you extracted

If you don't have the original theme file
You can still compress the folders

EXAMPLE
Open "oxygen os eu.mtz" folder
Long press and select all file and folders
Click more > compress
Type "oxygen os eu"
After compress is done
Long press the created file > more > rename
Remover the "zip" and type "mtz"

Final file name would be "oxygen os eu.mtz"

Then you can import that

Do you regularly 'tidy up' before installing each weekly ROM?
e.g. clear phone memory; run cleaner; clear recents; clear Dalvik; clear cache; delete /data/system/package_cache folder?

Tried with wipe dalvik, cache and package_folder, seems to boost the experience pretty fine, what you mean with clear phone memory? clean apps running in second plane?

'Clear phone memory' is the left-hand icon. It is a 'Quick function' widget.

I have yet to sample one of the many mal-functions that some people seem to suffer from, like yourself with 'laggy' experiences. I have put up a page here, Mi 10 (umi) - my process for installing weekly ROMs, to explain how I go through the update process every week. A little bit of extra care can save a lot of trouble!
