Why my Mi 9T Pro has Redmi boot logo?

Because this ROM is based on China ROM and the Chinese variant of our phone is Redmi K20 Pro. The devs actually replaced the logo with the mi.com one in one of the later MIUI 12 builds because people constantly asked about it but I don't see a reason for them to bother changing it really.

Same here on my mi 10, sometimes the fingerprint icon and animation disappear. This is very weird because this didn't happen in previous builds.

It would be interesting to know what sections of mi-10-umi-my-process-for-installing-weekly-roms you leave out? I do not seem to get such problems on my Mi 10 (umi).

Pyxis hangs on boot when Magisk 22 is installed.

I have pyxis and magisk 22, but no problems.

Updated to this latest ver.
Phone: Mi 10 Ultra.
Update thru TWRP took more than 10 mins, The installation went on a loop for 5 times. After success message again auto started the installation. After 5 times the phone auto restarted and with in 2 mins booted . Everything looks good now.

Not sure if this is expected.

never experienced this ever since flashing weekly rom.not sure whether bad zip files or got issue with twrp

Font thickness can no longer be changed with the current version. It is always thick, even if thin is set... (Not everywhere, for example at Gmail headlines)

I believe @Igor Eisberg explained it is the original logo of the Chinese beta (it is a Redmi K20)

My battery is draining very fast, it is even more than the previous rom.
It is already the fourth rom 12.5 that the battery is really really bad.

Unfortunately I'm going to go back to stock rom, I know it is much lower in terms of resources, but the battery life in the rom stock is very good and today I need battery life.

Anyway, I have to thank the devs for the immense work and hours and hours dedicated to that work.

You are right. Dinge 12.5 the battery life is bad. I'd like to go back to 12, too.
How do you go back?
Is there a way without clean install?

i'm curious as well. few other issues that i couldn't compile up until now:

- screenshot gestures randomly fail (three finger screen slide)
- Spotify controls randomly disappear from the status bar/lock screen widget, only come back after closing and reopening the app (possibly for any media app?)
- Spotify icon itself doesn't show up anymore on the upper left corner with the other icons (already checked all notifications and permissions)
- AIDA64 says android security patch is from june/20. is this different from the security patch shown on the config>spec list (feb/21)?
- on dev options i recall being able to switch icon formats (teardrop/rectangle/squircle) and system font color (ocean/space/purple/etc) but they're not there anymore

Did you install magisk 22 just after updating the rom? If so, did you reboot in recovery (from recovery reboot in recovery) between installing rom and magisk 22? I say that just in case it could be the reason of the problem.

Wow I have Volte working on MI 10 for no reason. Haven't touched anything. Wasn't working since December.

Not a bug. A fake security patch date is being displayed to third party apps in order to pass SafetyNet. The security patch date in Settings app is the correct one.

Might have been hidden, as this was never intended to be used on MIUI.

Not much to say regarding the other points, I don't use Spotify and have no issue with screenshot gesture.

I assume if I'm going to root, I have to root the device every single time if I update the rom?
