after updating i still get prompts to update to newest version

Hi, almost everything working great on Mi 10 Ultra. Problems I've found:
- Ambient mode charging progress (always tells 1 minute left, but this one happens versions ago)
- Searching contacts is very slow. I have rebuilt the index and it doesn't improves.
- Spotify status on task bar, even if I exit Spotify, and swipe notification doesn't free task bar space, and later it appears again. Photos attached.

Thanks for the work.

This contacts searching and spotify notification bar problems confirmed. One more bug when on dark mode on some installed apps, dark icons not change to white automatically.

Dirty flashed 21.4.28 on Mi Note 10 (coming from 21.4.21). Mobile internet connection is no longer working (neither on SIM 1 or SIM 2).

Yes i have installed the update through twrp
and deleted it after if you notice on updater app it is already on 21.4.28

Replied many times. It's Magisk app issue (blocked API key). You can update to the latest Magisk Canary app or check SafetyNet by other app from Play Store (SafetyNet Helper Sample preferred).

Cannot copy custom boot animation into the system/media folder using TWRP, it returns an error.
Likely related, AdAway cannot activate the and blocker due to not enough space.
Don't have a clue and never seen this before.

If you still have not resolved it, take a full backup, and then try a factory reset.

Okay I could fix the issue. My APN settings were gone. After resetting them mobile internet is working again.

If it started with only this week's ROM, it is unlikely to be a hardware problem.
If it was OK last week, then you could try re-installing last week's ROM. While still in TWRP, you could do a factory reset with last week's ROM, and see how that is. For the moment do not install anything else, like Magisk.

You will find that battery drain is down to you and your settings - rarely down to the ROM.
Remember you are working with BETA ROMs.

My experience is the opposite. For me it varies greatly between releases. At least for the weekly phoenix branch I'm currently using the battery life is either amazing or really bad. A day night difference.

Yes, it does vary between releases - and many unseen adjustments are made by the developers. We have to accept this with beta ROMs. It is unfortunate that the way that you have your settings seems to be affected more by the weekly ROMs. I am fortunate in that I have been able to adjust my settings to regularly be able to get 60+ hours per charge if I had to. I do not use any extra software - I have monitored, observed and tweaked where necessary to achieve this.
I also take quite good care of the battery.

Hello again!

A question that I have for months in my head! Why the auto (night) brightness always reset to default (auto - low light) after a reboot of the phone? If i dont reboot my phone the auto -low light remembers my setting ....my setting is completely to "zero" light with "auto" ON.

So the problem occurs only after a restart of the phone, it forgets my settings (my settings zero brightness) , for completely low light conditions like lie in bed at night with all lights turned off.

To be honest with you, i already checked that this is not happening with the official global rom.

Of course i know, its not the biggest problem, just a question of my own.!! Thanks a lot.

Same problem, i can't for example delete icon folder in /system/media with root
