this update broke my RN8, cause there's no internal storage found...
What exactly did you do step by step? It is working fine on mine.

Feddback:
The security patch is updated. They have also changed some stuff related to Wifi but it is too early to tell for certain.

Hello, you don't need to wipe cache/dalvik (it's useless but it does nothing bad :)) and if you install Magisk again (after flashing a ROM update) and if your device doesn't correctly boot to system, then the easiest way is to uninstall/reinstall Magisk. ;)
Ahah ok, thanks for the tip. Is it recommended to first boot once on the newest rom and then install Magisk, or can I install both in a row?

I always install both in a row, I don't use any problematic module (which can "broke" the boot after a ROM update). ;)

Stil no support for app updates on playstore??

And icons (wifi, Bluetooth etc) on the right side seems bigger and doesn't follow sizes just like the clock on the left side, compare to global.

As far as I know, it is intended, why would you expect it to change ?
Because they're slowly transitioning to global apps. So I guess it just make sense that those apps are updatable thru playstore

The apps are patched to remove advertisment and other related stuff.
Updating them can cause unexpected results and even break functionality.

So updating system apps renders the work of the developers and the idea of creating this custom rom quite pointless

might not be related, but would anyone mind sharing a guide with me on how to back up your phone via TWRP and restoring as well just in case? much appreciated!

Xiaomi MI11, when coming from stable, no wipe data to install this version with new TWRP?

I've just noticed that on androidfilehorst a ROM for Mi11Lite5G (renoir) for TWRP flashing exist.
I did not found a TWRP up to now for Mi11Lite5G.
I can't check because I have to wait for bootloader unlook.

Hey guys, I have a question regarding updating from previous weekly with Magisk.
Should I uninstall magisk, or modules, before flashing? Usually I just boot in TWRP and wipe cache/davlik chache and then flash, but I did not have Magisk previously.
Also I wonder if there are any Mi 10T users here, if yes, is there a TWRP that we can flash without issues?
Thanks for your help, cheers.
If you have special modules based on special ROM versions e.g. SmaliPatcher / sometimes Viper, then deactivate or deinstall this modules before updating the firmware. If you dont do it it can end in a bootloop.

f you want to switch from stable to weekly or vice versa you can try it without format data, but its not recommend.
So better you have a backup. Its your decision.

If you have TWRP it should work. For me who use Orangefox recovery it does not work so I have to flash myself on my tucana.

Sorry I dont get it. ADB is installed and connected but there are only very poor descriptions for installing TWRP. The recommended update-tool is all in chinese, so what could I do?

Email:
I thought that I would set up an email account ready to receive this week's ROM. I cannot set the account up. I have to manually set up the servers and clicked on 'manual setting' to set up the pop server, and it is just going round and round - 'Just a sec...'. It's been about 40 minutes now. I don't know why it needs to get data!
Will this week's ROM allow me to set the account up, I wonder?
What are you actually trying to do? (I got a little confused.)
(Just know the umi rom is delayed, so if you waited an email with the rom it may not arrive.)
