Ahah ok, thanks for the tip. Is it recommended to first boot once on the newest rom and then install Magisk, or can I install both in a row?Hello, you don't need to wipe cache/dalvik (it's useless but it does nothing bad ) and if you install Magisk again (after flashing a ROM update) and if your device doesn't correctly boot to system, then the easiest way is to uninstall/reinstall Magisk.
I have no issues with the Play Store
idk..i just did the usual update thru OTA like I do every other update but somehow this one failed...but nvm i got it fixed by restoring my dataWhat exactly did you do step by step? It is working fine on mine.
The security patch is updated. They have also changed some stuff related to Wifi but it is too early to tell for certain.
The apps are patched to remove advertisment and other related stuff.Because they're slowly transitioning to global apps. So I guess it just make sense that those apps are updatable thru playstore

Have a look:might not be related, but would anyone mind sharing a guide with me on how to back up your phone via TWRP and restoring as well just in case? much appreciated!
thank you!Have a look:
When you’re rooting, flashing custom ROMs, and otherwise playing with Android’s system, there are a lot of things that can go wrong. Before you start, you should know how to back up and restore your phone with the TWRP recovery environment.www.howtogeek.com
If you have special modules based on special ROM versions e.g. SmaliPatcher / sometimes Viper, then deactivate or deinstall this modules before updating the firmware. If you dont do it it can end in a bootloop.Hey guys, I have a question regarding updating from previous weekly with Magisk.
Should I uninstall magisk, or modules, before flashing? Usually I just boot in TWRP and wipe cache/davlik chache and then flash, but I did not have Magisk previously.
Also I wonder if there are any Mi 10T users here, if yes, is there a TWRP that we can flash without issues?
Thanks for your help, cheers.
What are you actually trying to do? (I got a little confused.)Email:
I thought that I would set up an email account ready to receive this week's ROM. I cannot set the account up. I have to manually set up the servers and clicked on 'manual setting' to set up the pop server, and it is just going round and round - 'Just a sec...'. It's been about 40 minutes now. I don't know why it needs to get data!
Will this week's ROM allow me to set the account up, I wonder?
