CHANGELOG

System

New - Xiaomi.eu recovery ROM for Mi 11 Lite 5G (renoir)
New - Enabled "Memory extension (SWAP)" feature [Snapdragon 888/870/865 devices]

System launcher
Fix - Uninstalling apps using drag-and-drop was not working in drawer mode

I flashed this version successfully and it's a really polished ROM. Thanks a lot devs. The only minor bug I have found (which might not even be worth fixing) is this little space I get when I am trying to move the wallpaper to the left (when I am choosing a wallpaper). So essentially, the wallpaper ends up not covering the status bar line at all.

Anyone can confirm if memory extension feature is working? After I enable it I don't see any difference
It certainly takes the extra 3Gb from Storage. I would assume that as it's added to the RAM, it will be utilised. Therefore there would not be the 3Gb added to the free RAM as it will be available to be utilitised.
Memory ext off:IMG_20210722_224735.jpg - Memory ext on: IMG_20210722_225042.jpg

Everything works great but a bug on Stock Camera remain since last week version:
- On Video Mode with 5x Lens viewfinder is waay shaky.
Temp Fix: Disable Image Stabilization in Camera Settings.

Having touch issues on Poco f2 pro, the apps doesn't work, but the gestures, control center and notification slider do work. In fact when it happens i can slide through notifications and the touch start working again.
The rest of the rom works flawlessly.

I don't really know where to report this, so if anyone knows, kindly, please do the job!! In messages (SMS and Greek language) it doesn't show the date correctly, it is only show the date as number but not the month and year of the received message. Please see picture below.

Dirty updated from previous version. Everything went smoothly. I don't had problems before and go on not having any problem.
From Mi9 lite

Just updated to this one. I have no problems.
However, how do I fix viewing videos in built-in File Manager private files?
Image viewing is fine though.

I just updated my RN8 ginkgo MIUI Global stock rom from Android 10 to Android 11, and I found out Android 11 is the culprit of stuttering 1080P60fps video from YouTube and twitch, my sister has RN9S android 11 too he had the same issue,I might change my rom to EU again i have nothing to do to fix that problem so might leave that problem as it is

Don't get carried away with expanding your RAM. It expands (swop) at the expense of the phone's memory. BUT! Phone memory (flash technology) has a very limited (compared to RAM) number of write cycles to its cells. Using phone memory as RAM leads to its accelerated degradation and failure.
Expand RAM only when it is impossible to run the desired application.

It's actually same as the Windows and Linux using, when you run out of memory the App in the memory goes to SWAP file which is in the Virtual Memory,it's not acting as a actual RAM
