Requirements:
  • Your device's bootloader must be unlocked.
Installing with Fastboot:
  • Download Xiaomi.eu ROM zip file
  • Extract the ROM zip to a new folder
  • Power off your device
  • Boot your device in Fastboot mode (Hold volume down + power buttons)
  • Connect to PC via USB cable
  • Run one of the installation scripts (according to your PC operating system):
    - first_install_with_data_format - with data wipe, if you're flashing Xiaomi.eu ROM for the first time or downgrading.
    - update_rom - without data wipe, if you're updating from an older Xiaomi.eu ROM.
  • Done!
Installing with TWRP:
(TWRP must be installed with Fastboot mode)
  • Download Xiaomi.eu ROM zip file
  • Reboot to TWRP
  • If installing for the first time or downgrading: Wipe -> Format Data
  • Copy the ROM zip file to the internal storage
  • Install -> Select the ROM zip file
  • Reboot to system
  • Done!
Updating via Updater app:
(A Xiaomi.eu ROM and TWRP must already be installed on your device)
  • Download Xiaomi.eu ROM zip file
  • Copy the ROM zip file to the internal storage
  • Updater -> Menu (...) -> Select update package
  • Select the ROM zip file
  • Confirm any dialogs
  • Done!

No. Weekly ROM is a newer version so you don't need to wipe data.

You only need to wipe data if either installing for first time or when going from weekly to stable.
 
I encounter problems with downloading weekly releases for my Houji. When I was trying to download a moment ago, site kept constantly refreshing and nothing happened. I've tried to use different mirrors, different browsers (Firefox and Chrome) – still the same.

Finally I was able to start downloading process, but the predicted waiting time is about 7 hours. My network speed is about 1 Gbps on download. Somebody has a similar issue?

*stable goes perfectly, problem is present only on weekly builds*

Same Here on my Side, 12hours Download time for houji. Looks Like SF Server Problems again........
 
Guys it's mentioned every week. This is a sourceforge issue and not a Xiaomi.eu problem. Unfortunately it needs patience, downloads stuck with no resume. Today I was lucky and managed to get the Nuwa Rom after 3 tries.
Maybe try with a download manager and you might have some better luck

Anyone here pls check for me latest Miuihome inluded this build is RELEASE-4.39.14.8259-07121552 or newer?
 
Download worked after a couple of attempts. Update for Houji CN worked perfectly. No issues so far.
Thanks to the devs.
 
Downloads are - fine - IF you have patience , well , and actually stop complaining about the same old same .. roms are provided free by xiaomi. eu and provided - free by source force. No point of spamming the same posts every time - at every new update . We need answers to more serious questions and not questions about downloading - all devs have already answered about source force , nothing we can do about it.

By the end of the day , it is what it is.

If you encounter problems downloading files, you can click "Problems Downloading?" and try changing to other regions.

Downloads are more than fine by my side

EDIT: As always, replaced boot.img with patched one from Magisk to maintain root and flashed into fastboot mode, everything works as expected :)

Hi guys, I am using a Mi 14.

I have the version 24.7.17

Right now, I noticed that I still could get messages even though I have "Flight Mode" turned on.

I don't think that I should still have signal when "flight mode" is on. Does anyone also have the same issue?
