This is my new S4. I just came back from another rom. Previous version worked well in my old S3.

My S4 recovery is for Kitkat, it might be the reason for this problem?

With this version and with the 2 previous ones, virus scan causes a crash of the security app.

It will begin scanning and crash after 1-2 seconds.

The error report is the following:

java.lang.NullPointerException
at com.miui.viruscenter.d.iM(VirusScan.java: 154)
at com.miui.viruscenter.d.iM(VirusScan.java: 39)
at com.miui.viruscenter.d.iM(VirusScan.java: 116)
at java.lang.Thread.rin(Thread.java:856)

My device is Mi2S running multilang version (using Greek language).

Maybe it is language releated? Anyone any ideas?

Same error on my Mi2s too using Hungarian language, so it is not translation releated bug. Try to make a factory reset, it supposedly will solve this issue.

Caused by paid apps installed in mnt/asec... Uninstall them and it will work again... It should be fixed this week.. We are working on it with Xiaomi devs...
