I just want a stable/dev non-SE version of v6 for Mi2s, hope that will happen sometime soon?there is no sense to keep MIUIv6 SE live when official v6 will be released... well.. hope for less bugs... but all our tools will be broken by 5.0... so a lot of work is waiting for us...

It is typical user error, that caused by your incorrect ROM install method.I downloaded and installed this ROM on my MI2. Everything seems to work fine except WLAN. WLAN doesnt turn on and in the Network setting page, I can see it says Turning on. and all the tabs are disabled. SO basically WLAN icon doesnt work. I think its a bug, which should be looked upon at the earliest.
If you guys know a work around for this problem, please do let me know.
Thank you in advance

Yeah, it is typical...MIU6 is not compatible with CWM recovery by M1cha (not supported).Could you please tell how to install it?
What I did was,
1. Downloaded the ROM.
2. Renamed it to update.zip. placed it in the main folder
3. Started the phone in recovery mode
4. wiped cache and installed it to system one.
If theres anything else i need to do please lemme know
Mi4 has different update path. The rom might be already exists and also they don't need extra beta testers.when i used mi2 there was beta testfor miui 6 KK for mi3 and mi4, now i have mi4 there's beta test for official Lollipop miui 6 on mi2...uhma..that's strange

Here is the right method, as you can see on first post by Ingbrzy :
"For first installation of Mi2S v6 SPECIAL EDITION
- Install v6 via MiFlash (flash_all) - image
- Then install our multilang via Updater app like usually"

So now, I have to download the MiFlash and install the ROM using MiFlash? Also MiFlash image is 400Mb. Should I download it first?

I dont seem to understand how to flash.
I didnt get fastboot folder too. Please help me flash it
Here is the MIUI6 5.1.23 fastboot release for Mi2S:
http://bigota.d.miui.com/5.1.23/aries_beta_images_5.1.23_4.4_cn_9a375fa3af.tgz
1. Download fastboot ROM to PC and unzip it.
2. Install MiFlash on PC, run as Admin
3. Start Mi2S in Fastboot mode (switch on the phone by press and hold the volume down and power buttons at the same time)
4. connect phone to PC using data cable, and click refresh in MiFlash to detect the phone
5. Browse the unpacked fastboot folder from MiFlash and switch to advanced mode and browse the requested files one by one. For Fastboot Script: browse flash_all.bat file. For NvBoot Script: Leave it on default value. The others are obviously!
6. Click flash (it will take a while untill completed)--> Yow will lose all of your data from your phone, including SD. Make sure first you have backup if necessary!
7. Install Mulilang ROM via updater app
It will take a wile until the phone reboot after flash completed....It says the operation is completed in couple of seconds. And the phone doesnt reboot at all.
Some mistake am doing. I dunno where.
