I got data drain In gmail app, it took 400 mega of data in 30 min.
I dont now if was related with update but never had before.
Finally I blocked 3g data access for gmail because it kept consuning in fore and background
Seems it got stucked in downloading attachments

Still there's a bug with an app which uses data in background, isn't Google's keyboard but appears like him in system data usage and consumption. Stable versions don't have it.

I have this bug too, but nobody here seems to care about this.
Not even a word.
That's exactly the same bug as in v6 last year.
We would like that at least one mod read this.
Why do they skip this messages?
It's a MAJOR bug.
I have a questioned, I flashed the developer 5.9.18 over my MIUI 6 Stable that came stock, and everything is working fine, but how do I activate root? I though the ROM came pre-rooted..
and I missing something? or do I need to get a custom recovery and flash SuperSU to have root acces? :s

Please add option to disable spell check in Google keyboard. I have allways red underline. I need to freeze app and use swiftkey. Thanks

Go to app Security > Permissions > Root Access and grant root access on all app you want to grant. Remember that you need to try to use root permissions with that app before.
You have to do this for every app you want to grant root access. Or maybe do this one time for SuperSU (install from app store and try to use it, after grant it root access) and use it for root manage

Hi,I have some problems on my Redmi Note 2 with Miui v7 5.9.18. The Theme Store shows only Themes and there isn't the option for download lockscreens only,icons only,status bars etc. And another problem is that only Google Apps are not getting themed although inside the folder miui_mod_icons there is the icons for google apps.

its not an issue.. its international miui theme store... its online app, so whole content is provided by Xiaomi...

I have a bug in 5.9.17 for redmi note 4g dual sim. When call I cant hear nothing, turn on/off the speaker mode solve it for this call.
