For CANCRO working steps for merging partition :
Step 1): be on miui kk rom on both partitions (system 1 and sytem 2) with mi recovery
Step2 ) use updater app and update to 5.12.17
Step 3) after boot again use updater app and update to same 5.12.17 again
Now you are on new partition
After that u can change recovery and flash MM rom

boot 5.12.17 and via updater app flash again 5.12.17..now u have merged partition ,works for me..after that boot rom, and same with mm build

it worked and now i have 1.2gb system, but also flashed Mi Recovery..
i will try to install twrp via update.zip and then MM...

From disk info app.. On normal partition u have system 1 and system 2, modem 1 and modem 2 , but with merged u have only one system, one modem driver etc
U can see from ss ,best example

works with TWRP, I already flashed ..but for 5.12.17 u need to be on stock mi recovery,just for safety

yeah..mi recovery sometimes doesn't work on merged partition..best way to flash TWRP is via fastboot

yeah..mi recovery sometimes doesn't work on merged partition..best way to flash TWRP is via fastboot

after installing twrp via fastboot and flashing MM, all works correctly, thanks a lot!

I found 2 bugs
First ,I can't connect to whatsapp web, it is scanning but nothing, works on other roms and miui mm global
Second ,I can't connect to MI PC Suite, works on 4.4 roms, but I think that is problem for mm roms ?

u need install latest supersu, after that all works in security app, no problems

So ist System Partition ok with 600mb (Mi3?) ?

Some say it must be 1.2GB. Mine was 600mb and I updated to MM. :-/
