I use the Mi5S Plus but from my point of view, I would suggest using monthly if you want constant tweaks and fixes applied so that you're up-to-date.

Stable, if you use your phone as a daily driver with most of the features you already need, on the ROM.
 
Hello,

The Redmi Note 3 Pro Special Edition has his TWRP Recovery ? I can only see the Kenzo version.

I want to do my first rom installation but I've got one doubt:
there are 2 options:
a) Xiaomi devices
b) ROMs for devices with locked bootloader

Having a xiaomi with locked bootloader is confusing which one is the correct one. I know I have to unlock it here: http://en.miui.com/unlock/ but after that not sure what steps do I have to follow through.

Hi I have problem with wifi speed, my pc download around 90 Mb\s, instead my Mi5 max 40 Mb\s,
someone else has the same problem?

You have to write a reason.

Say you want to unlock to flash a Global ROM for more signal uses etc.
After, wait 7 days for a text message saying you are now allowed to unlock bootloader.

I received my text in the UK within a few hours but maybe I just got lucky.

Then download the Mi Unlock tool, sign in with your email that you have authorization from Xiaomi from and connect your device and follow the instructions.

Really easy but can take a while to wait if you're not lucky.

Okay thanks! But there's is big difference between original TWRP and ZCX TWRP? Why have you installed this one?

Because of no problems with ZCX and the additional possibility to do MIUI OTA updates while I used Global Beta Rom (NOT with EU Rom). I have read that some people had problems with "normal" TWRP, but I did not try this out. Maybe "normal" TWRP is ok. But I decided for ZCX and I am happy to do so. Works perfect with xiaomi.eu Rom and Kate. No reason to change or try out "normal" TWRP.

No, if you flash the same ROM over the top, it will just reflash everything.

If you Wipe then flash, then you lose everything.

I flashed 11.3 over 10.# and it kept my things

Okay, the support for incremental OTA is really useful if I decide to use official ROM, so I'll choose this version of TWRP. Thanks for letting me know.
