Hello everyone !

I've been searching this forum for the past days looking for answers but I've only gathered more questions.
In the past I had an S2 and it was really simple and it had no risks involved in bricking and so, but since then I had an iPhone 5S and I just recently turned back to Android and I think a lot has changed.
The thing is, I have a Mi 5 Prime 64GB with Global Stable 8.1.2.0 (MAAMUDU), I have already unlocked the bootloader and Installed TWRP (3.0.2-3) and SuperSU 2.79.
I already did a full backup of the system/efs/data/etcccc through TWRP.
I want to try Xiaomi.EU ROM but I don't know if I can just flash it through TWRP or is there any other process involved since I am in a stock rom.
And can I revert back to Global Stable by flashing it within TWRP?

Sorry if I missed any thread but I can't really find anything that fits what I ask.

Tested with version of the ROM on Xiaomi Mi5s 64Gb.

- Build 6.12.29
- Build 6.12.22
- Build 6.12.8

Below issue still unfix.

- Volte doesn't work, during the call and network will drop to 3G.
- Intermittent touch screen does not work and work around is to switch off screen and on again.

hi,

does anyone have this issue? Basically, I've updated my Redmi Pro to this version and now it seems I've lost the launcher menu from settings and consequently I can't unlock the icons on my home screen.

Thanks for the help!

I've got no answer so I repeat that it's always impossible to use search screen feature in this release. Buttons in the settings of Google app are always grey

Ok Works well. To enable this feature, you have to go to the phone settings and you must
Set Google App as default assist app.
Yes !!!

hi guys, please help.
Do I need to install mi5 as follows, or can I build it directly?

How to update to Android 7.0 from Android 6.0:

- Install LATEST Android 6.0 release for MI5 6.11.10
- Install TWRP 3.0.2.3 or ZCX
- Reboot to new TWRP
- Install Android 7.0 release
- Reboot - Never wipe /system partition manually!
- Done
- In case of any issues, make factory reset via system settings
- For ROOT on Android 7.0 install SuperSU 2.79
- For update from 7.0 to 7.0 reboot into TWRP (Updater app doesn't work yet)

What build do you have now?

I don't understand. You say that I have to do a wipe cache, Dalvik cache, system and data ? I've to do a backup before and after I restore the backup ? I'm ok ?

Tried dirty flash this over 6.12.08 on my Mi Mix but no luck (three times). Procedure stops during flashing when blue bar reach the end on TWRP screen.
Glad I had backup and restored successfully.
