A nandroid backup when restored overwrite all or replace all?
I mean it's like flashing over or it's like flashing a new rom?

I don't know if I'm clear by the way I don't want that stuff already on the phone mix with stuff in the backup.
I want just stuff from nandroid backup.
I can restore a full system complete nandroid backup on a different version ROM? For example, what will happen if I have stable 7.2.1.0 backup and I want to restore it over 7.2.3.0?
Or I need to do full wipe flash previous ROM and restore the backup?
I don't understand if nandroid backup wipe and write ( I would like that) or just replace/overwrite files...
When restoring nandroid backup, system and data are automatically wiped by the recovery.Your phone will be just like it was at the time of nandroid creation...

For Mi Note Pro (Leo) need after flash to flash again correct recovery as previous update. All the rest for the moments is ok.

Sent from my MI NOTE Pro

I cant flash this new rom from TWRP , no SD CARD found
I need to flash TWRP manually by ADB ??

why we have this issue on LEO MiNote PRO

Yes put the phone in fastboot and flash manually the TWRP. Then all it is ok. And next time just change the TWRP in the zip.

Miui gallery renewed, heck, disabling it. Hate when miui cloud is forced.

Like last week, twrp is unable to mount system. Phone remains without system. Need to flash Chinese IMG with flashtool then update it again with updater.

A complete mess since twrp inclusion.

So, if I have a backup of 7.2.1.0 ROM can I restore it over a 7.2.3.0?

Thank you.

So you can't say it's a 3g issue...
Ok, I'll test it.

Ok, @chickentuna ...
I've tested it and the bug is present with 4g connection.
I would like to ask you: Do you know which bugs where fixed in 7.2.3.0? Because I would like to flash the previous 7.2.1.0 but I'm worried because 7.2.3.0 get out very few days after and I don't know if I can trust 7.2.1.0 ...
It's like 7.2.3.0 fixed some serious bug of 7.2.1.0.... Strange.

No sorry. I don't know. I only rely on official Xiaomi changelog. The latest stable did not mention any specifics. It just says "various bug fixes" if you ask me, there are no major/critical bugs that I have noticed that affects my daily usage (actually I do not see bugs at all) as of this writing. This is with 3 days usage under 7.2.1 stable. As always, your mileage may vary.

7.2.1.0 good too. But I think 7.2.3.0 best of time. 5.25 SOT 3g/wifi mix usage

I had the surprise to see that TWRP is included in the ROM also for mocha, even if is not quite usable. In order to root my Mipad, I had to flash CWM via updater and then the supersu with the CWM recovery. Shouldn't the CWM be in the ROM instead of TWRP, for mocha?

My mi 3 has the same problem. Can't mount system in twrp. . What i do is with adb flash the cyanomod cancro recovery and from that i can mount system and install the eu cancro rom
. At the end it gives a lot of errrors in Red but When I reboot i have each time the new eu rom installed with again twrp included that gives the same problem next week. Any solution? Whiped and formated everything already. Restoring a twrp backup works and gives working system again but no rom Flash possible because can't mount system in twrp. It is impossible to change system as mounted.
