I still have problems with synchronization and receiving instant messages online even when the screen is active and the application is running. At MIUI7 there is no such problem.

Pastes logs from LogCat, maybe someone something to help.

I just downgraded to 6.7.28 version and LED working properly.
Unofrutnately ROM issue.
I hope the will solve it.

Optimization - LED notification light turned off by default in permissions
You should turn on LED notification for each app.

The new feature I like the most is generic miui 8 photo editor. Much better than miui 7 version. Question: Is it possible to transfer/replace just miui 8 photo editor to miui7 ? I would rather stay on miui 7 for now, but I would like to have miui 8 photo editor.

There is NO option in viber for this. I need LED blinking not screen turning on function.
This issue wasn't exist before 2 ROMs ago...

Check two options in settings:

Aditional settings => Notification ligh => Pulse notifaction light ON

Notification & status bar => App notifications => Viber => Notification Light ON

I have my notification light switched on in messaging app settings as in yo u r screen shot , and it never works and I don't think it has since I updated to miui 8 . Whatsapp and gmail are ok , though . Can anyone suggest what else I can do ? Thanks .
