Does this beta lock the bootloader?

Ii will relock bootloader only if upgrade from v.5.1.
If you got stuck at mi logo or soft bootloop after install mm6 rom. Just re unlock again, will be fine after that.
It happened to me before.

No. All existing apps will work as it is. Wipe Only Cache and Dalvik. Do not wipe System or Data partition

flashed with no issues to Kenzo:

Clean Dalvik/Cache and flash.

Flash was again very quick, initial boot took 15+ minutes. No issues so far.

thank you for this update but as usually I used twrp and on the demand I choose also install superSu.
but this time superSU is not rooted and binary files update not requested as usually.
What is wrong?

Did lock Kenzo bootloader last itteration ;-)

I had no problem with a locked bootloader in the last Kenzo updates.

Just switch to Xiaomi.Eu Rom from global stable. just completed the installation of the weekly ROM on Mi5. So far ok.

lol! That's Xiaomi's answer to recent accusations? Instead of trying to demonstrate the app is safe and secure, they remove it, thus proving it was actually malware and no one was supposed to find it. Sad.
