1. Install a MIUI 7 fastboot rom to establish a working Pad (MIUI8 requires extended Partition so it will not work)
If Pad works again you can go ahead as described here http://en.miui.com/thread-118294-1-1.html
I did the procedure with 3 MiPads sucessfully!

Fix the permissions as said and you are good. Just go to Security>permissions/app-permissions and find permissions for storage. Then you look for whatsapp and set permissions correct. Had to do this as well since permissions were not correct.

Have any people bug with make panorama photo?
My mi4s it's make only at album position.
Me need make horizontal panorama with lanscape position phone, because it's mode do few photo that album position, and if many photo to panorama- many error when it joined.

Im having issues after a rom update that apps are crashing when opening them the first time after the rom flash.

It seems it is a cache/data/memory issue or something related to that, as the app does not work at the first try when opening it, after a rom flash.
But after trying a few times or opening some other apps, closing those and trying again, the app works again....

This happends to all kinds of apps; system apps, installed apps, apps with applock enabled; there doesn't seem to be a coincedence in which app crashes the first time when trying to open it.

Anyone has had the same behaviour?

I had in past, I solved by updating to next rom. You can try also with wipe data.

Redmi Note 3 Pro.

Battery performance is grand for me on this rom.

Currently 1 day and 18 hours with 44% battery remaining.

Don't know about global or any official rom how is situation with rooting atm, avoiding to use bloated roms. using eu miui 7 last stable and rooted without problem.

flashing recommended supersu binary corrupts bluetooth mac address and it defaults to 00:00:00:5a:ad. On MI3. Without SU binary it reads correct value.

Thanks, that's right, but using Mi calculator it gives 100-10%=99.90, it converts 10% as 0.1 then 100-0.1=99.90.
Am I alone with this issue ?
