Video app crashed on Mi4S, Updater close automatically.

Hello dear developers, is it possible to exclude the re-locking bootloader problem with the next update???

I have permission in the mi account. It's not the permission matter. Is there any method to solve the problem - actually phone is bricked...
 
hi guys, i at the moment i installed the old 7.2.23 on my mi5s 128gb if i want to install this latest version based on miui 9 i should i do some particular wipe?

I do not understand your problem well, in my case, make the white screen and take the photo properly.

You said your bootloader re-locked (and also your device is not bound to Mi account), and if bootloader locked then MiFlash installation blocked... That is why I said deep flash cable may need.

Anyway why don't you try first with normal cable?

You have to bind your device to your mi account in order to get able to unlock bootloader, that is why this way needed...

To flash with locked bootloader you need to enter EDL mode, there are many ways to enter EDL mode :
1. hold both Vol Up + Vol Down + Power, boot.
2. enter fastboot mode and type 'fastboot oem edl' to
3. use deep flash cable.

Personally I tried no. 2 once on locked Redmi 3 / IDO.

enter fastboot mode and type 'fastboot oem edl' ?

I've personally flashed my friend's Redmi 3 that way.

I've tried after pc connectivity vol plus + power and phone started with red diode flashing. Is it the edl mode?

On my Mi4c battery drained 10% overnight. That is on last few roms. Everything is turn off. Only airplane mode is turn on.
Before was 2-3% over night.

To Enter Fastboot Mode, press and hold Volume Down key + Power Key about 10 seconds or until the Rabbit appears on the screen, after that you can check if your devices is recognise by typing 'fastboot oem device-info', and lastly try go to EDL mode by typing 'fastboot oem edl'.

When your devices is in EDL mode, the screen turned to blank/black screen, nothing on the screen.

Update : i forgot to mention, to exit from EDL mode, press the Power button for about 20-25 seconds..

Thanks.It really works on my Redmi 4.
 
Redmi Note 2: Auto focus doesn't work in any app that uses the camera. Same problem was present in 7.10.19. Anyone else have that problem or is it hardware?
