Sooo, same here on Mi4s. Clock app works for me on both roms, but on reuploaded rom mi remote doesn't open.

1- install android 6.12.22
2- unlock bootloader or install android 7
3- install android 7 or unlock bootloader

Step one : Update to MIUI 6.12.22
Step two : Update to the lastest MIUI version (7.2.23)
Stop three : Unlock bootloader (en.miui.com/unlock) and reflash TWRP (https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=457095661767135741)

Can anyone tell me Mi4c auto brightness is working correctly? It wasn't in previous builds

Being a MI4C owner, I'm still stucked at 50% of the MI Unlock process..

I followed all the previous required steps, installing the 6.12.22 then upgrading to 7.2.16.
I asked and received the confirmation SMS to unlock my device from Xiaomi (confirmation SMS dated 20 feb.), so right now 5 days are passed.
I enabled 'Debug USB' and 'OEM Unlock' in the Developer Options panel and if I log into i.mi.com I can see my unique device correctly (if I search for my device, it's ONLINE an correctly located in Italy).
I logged into my device/Xiaomi/MI Unlock software with the same username (phone number) and password.

Maybe do I have to wait more days? Uhm..

Hi Peter, could you share to me the details step to install 7.2.23 on mi note pro? I am using 6.12.22 now. Before, i used flasify -> twrp -> rom.zip to updated. Is this still work to update to 7.2.23? Thanks

Hi, first of all I'm usually updating my phone using TWRP.
Here is my timeline story :

I updated my MiNote Pro from 6.12.22 to 7.2.9, following the instructions posted in 7.2.9 rom:
1) download 7.2.9 rom.
2) install via Updater
3) installation passed, phone was locked, battery drain issue. then new rom was reuploaded, but I was not able to install because of the phone lock.
4) I applied for the unlock rights. A few days after that I received approval SMS.
5) I unlocked the phone
6) installed new version of TWRP for Android7, leo.
7) installed new reuploaded ROM

and all was done.
The installation from 7.2.9 to 7.2.23 I made via TWP as usual.

I think that you can use these steps in the this order: 4, 1 (with 7.2.23 rom) , 2, 5 and 6 to update from 6.12.22 to 7.2.23 as well.

I cant stream with magine tv, only hear audio with mi5 4/128.
Support wrote that there is no certfied widevine drm.
Anybody with same issues?
