I do not have VoLTE enabled, but still have this problem. MI5s, 7.2.24

There is a global stable 8.1.3 since about a month but xiaomi.eu stable is at 8.1.1 yet, while at the same time global stable 8.2 is being delayed for 2 weeks by now.

Its enabled. I have disabled only system animation.

Have a Mi 4 LTE with 7.2.24, sometimes I can not answer voice calls and sometimes can not swipe down the picture to close it on gallery app. Is it fixed by next build?

Since the previous version of the mi4c rom, I've been having apps crashing, not force closing though. The problem is worse since the upgrade to N. Mi remote won't even open, Facebook is slow and miui asks to wait or close etc.

I even wiped data through twrp. The problem unfortunate remains.
 
stupid question.. on my mi max hydrogen

got twrp and previous 6.0 xiaomi eu rom...should i wipe system (format) directly or can i jsut dirty install to this 7.0 rom?

Install last build, problem with Mi remote is solved.
 
Hello everybody,
A quick question (hope it's not an obvious one).

I'm about to install this ROM on a Mi 4C.
It now has an Android 7.0 China developer ROM (it's the latest available).

Since it already has an Android 7.0 ROM, can I directly install 7.2.24?
Or I still have to install 6.12.22 before, as stated in the first post?

"How to upgrade from Android 5.1 to Android 7.0 MI4C, Mi4S, MINote PRO:
Install MIUI 6.12.22 before updating to Android 7.0.."

I unlocked it for the very first time with Xiaomi.eu ROM the official way without any issues.

Glad it succeeded, if I recall this properly Mi 4i, Mi 4c and Mi note pro had a "present" from Xiaomi some long time ago with software update BL lock on unlocked sold devices. If you`ve never installed official rom since then that`s the reason for first lock now with android base change. Still good to know that even first time unlock can be accomplished on xiaomi.eu

I am having consistent google service crash since this update. Nothing related to google works.
Any solution ?

I am using tjhe Redmi note 2 btw!

edit: The phone is basically dead since I get spammed by crash messaged...

Telling the admin to "Fix it" is pretty rude mate. You seem to want this feature so bad, why don't you fix it yourself?
 
After the google crash loop I tried to do a full wipe/reset via the recovery mode. Now the phone does not boot anymore. It just keep turning off and on (goes back off at "mi.com" logo). Any advice for me?
