i have mi5s plus 6/128, and with this weekly update i have a BIG battery drain (my phone go from 100% to 0% in 3-4 hours of STANDBY (with screen off!). and i can't connect my phone with my mote 360 android wearable...and now, also if i reset my moto 360 and i go back to previous weekly update (7.1.19) i can't reconnect my moto 360 ! help!!

I have a rom fastboot that has to be official because it only leaves me English and Chinese. At least I recognize the sim card, but how do I put the .eu to have Spanish ???

Install TWRP recovery via fastboot mode using ADB commands then install our ROM via TWRP

I tried it and it does not install it, I get the original Chinese. In the miunlock tells me that I do not need to unlock the device

I have 2 concerns, hopefully you could help me sort them out.

My current version is
Xiaomi Mi5 s
Android Version 6.0.1
MIUI version 7.9.2

1. Can i update form Andorid 6 to 7 on MI5S now, or is it only available to the specified versions from 1st post?
RELESED Android 7.0 for MI4C, Mi4S, MIMAX, MIMAX PRO, MINote PRO

2. After upgrading to 7.9.2, my camera roll/Gallery stopped working. It auto-quits every time i try to open it or any app tries to access it.
Is anyone experiencing this issue?
So by now i cant see my photos...

I also have MI 5S and updated to 7.2.9.
I do not think there is any ROM for it with android 7.
I do not have the problem with the gallery.
Maybe try to delete the data for it through applications manager?
I'm actually using Google foto's instead of thee miui gallery.
I hope you will be able to fix the problem.

I installed miui 8 based on nougat on my hydrogen and it works well but it has some minor flaws.
There are some issues with some homescreen animations (cube and one more i dont remember the name). And with root wifi and sim doesnt work.

otherwise great rom and keep it up guys, good work

I've installed android 7.0 on my Mi Note Pro but when I use MiFlashUnlock and starts "Verifying Device Information"shows this

What does it mean? Can I unlock newly the phone or i have to wait 30 days?

You can unlock the phone as much as you want. You have to try many times till Mi Unlock works as it is not 100% reliable.

Hi mate! I have a Mi Note Pro, installed Nougat, Friday version, unlocked bootloader and now I want to install TWRP and root device. Can you point me to the TWRP version that you have flashed and also can you explain how you flashed it? Maybe fastboot command? I also have battery drainage problem. Where can I find the fixed version? Thanks a lot!

Working TWRP is on MIUI Hellas, fixed ROM is now in the OP in this thread.

Thanks for your reply... i kept on trying different options/solutions and after activating "Gallery"´s Geolocation permissions it worked again.

Will try Google Photo instead to see if its worth it.
