Hi. When a new update 8.1 probably for mi5s? This one 8.0.10.0 has a lot of bugs...

So, 1,5 days with 7.2.9 on Mi4s:

• only little cores are working
• no access to microphone in third-party apps (WhatsApp etc)
• sounds became quieter
• fingerprint scanner works in 50% cases
• HDR doesn't work (camera fc)
• silent mode doesn't turn off sounds, they just becomes quieter
• wifi mac-adress changes after each reboot
• xunlei downloader is active and there is no way to turn it of in system

Need some fixes, I think

Did you try Factory Reset? Its probably because of dirty install.

Same problems of MI4C, no access to microphone in third-party apps (WhatsApp etc). I have done the factory reset and problems persist.

My Mi4C cant be unlocked after upgrade to 7.2.9. The MI Unlock Tool says "couldnt verify device".

Lost imei, lock bootloader, mi4c Nougat is disaster. Still waiting until xiaomi.eu developers will make a rom wich doesn't lock bootloader or losing functionality of SIM cards.

We won't. And don't flash super su. You will have Sim.

Guys any news regarding a functional TWRP for Mi 4s ? The TWRP_aqua_7.0.zip does not load and phone stays in a loop showing mi logo and restarting ...

Have you unlock the bootloader first?

Mi4c update to Android 7, everything works but recording voice notes on whatsapp, telegram and fb messenger does not work.

Same here. And even with the fixed rom, battery seems to drain pretty fast. I don't recomment anyone (at least mi4s) to upgrade at least for a few weeks until everything becomes more stable

Detected another problem on Mi MAX PRO. With the processor. Seems the Cortex A72 only show at 1.4GHz instead of 1.8GHz. And I only got 61k in AnTuTu. That and by the looks of CPU-Z makes me think the A72 cores don't even start.

So, to sum up the problems with the updated release for Mi MAX PRO, which solves the battery drain, the following remain:

- back camera crashes when the flash is set to OFF
- Bluetooth music playback interruptions (like 0.5s every aprox 2 min)
- CPU A72 cores report incorrect values and may not work at all

stupid question.. can i just flash the 7.0 nougat straight from twrp 3.0.0 or do i need to update it?
on my mi max 32gb..

In case of massive draine battery as above stated, can i go back if I did the nandroid backup on the 6.0 rom?

Confirm that TWRP_aqua_7.0 doesn't works, just got bootloop after flash it. Only TWRP_libra_7.0 works for me on Mi4s.

Mi5 user, go to setting>installed apps>select any apps and try to force close it...and see what happen

One more issue on Mi4s, sim1 looses service. I have to disable and enable the sim to work again, amd after a while "no service" again ...

same problem with mi4c. i dont know if it also happens in Chinese rom cause i haven't tried it.

Swipe up to remove a task in Recents still doesn´t work on Mi5 32 GB. When i swipe up the app still stays in background working the only way is to close all the tasks. It happens to you too?

Just let me know...I have latest Miui with 5.1.1 Android for my Mi Note Pro. If I want go to new Android 7 Miui Rom I have to change TWRP first? Can I install the Xiaomi.eu rom without lock bootloader or it will be locked anyway? Tell me how I have to install the rom and anything on my phone will be deleted

I have 2 concerns, hopefully you could help me sort them out.

My current version is
Xiaomi Mi5 s
Android Version 6.0.1
MIUI version 7.9.2

1. Can i update form Andorid 6 to 7 on MI5S now, or is it only available to the specified versions from 1st post?
RELESED Android 7.0 for MI4C, Mi4S, MIMAX, MIMAX PRO, MINote PRO

2. After upgrading to 7.9.2, my camera roll/Gallery stopped working. It auto-quits every time i try to open it or any app tries to access it.
Is anyone experiencing this issue?
So by now i cant see my photos...

Hey guys, anybody tried fast charging after the update? My Mi Max Pro doesn't do fast charging anymore. It worked great on last version.
