Do i miss something ?

For personalize status bar, you can use xposed module like xmiui or flat style bar indicator [fsbi]

If you can play audio but not video, it seems to be a codec issue.

Select Ringtone or Notifi or Alarm
Click Sign Plus at the bottom right corner, then select your mp3 file as tone

It has been written many times before that disable "Use GSM alphabet" in Messaging settings or if it is disabled then enable and disable it again
