ciao a tutti, chiedo scusa se scrivo in italiano, spero che qualcuno possa aiutarmi.
ho installato Android 7 sul mio mi5s plus con una installazione pulita direttamente dalla TWRP cancellando tutto.
l'intestazione è andata a buon fine e tutto funziona regolarmente.
un solo problema.... quando tocco lo scanner sul retro, si accede il telefono.
mi spiego meglio.
io non uso impronte, non ho registrato nessuna impronta.
quando con qualsiasi dito tocco il sensore, il telefono non solo si accende, ma mi sbocca il telefono, arriva direttamente alla home, al launcher.
ma basta toccarlo anche con un penna, un tovagliolo.... con qualsiasi cosa si tocchi il sensore, il telefono si accende e arriva direttamente alla home.
siccome non ho attivato il riconoscimento di impronta, qualcuno sa come poter risolvere?
ho anche fatto la prova di attivare il sensore, registrare un dito, provare e funziona.
eliminata la registrazione, tolto l'attivazione del sensore ma tutto è come prima, quando tocco il sensore.... il telefono arriva alla home....
spero che qualcuno possa aiutarmi....

Same problem on my phone. I was able to solve it. Reboot your phone and you will be able to delete the fingerprints. Make sure to create new ones.

EDIT: For me the fingerprint scanner in this version works worse than in 8.0.3.0, 8.2.4.0 and 8.5.2.0.

When messaging is replaced with another SMS managing app, like Messages from google and the phone enters in DND mode, the SMSs are incoming to the old messaging app and they are forwarded to the Miband too (I have Miband tools installed). When deactivating the DND mode, everything comes back to normal.
I have redmi pro 64gb with 7.6.8.

Hi, I'm new over here so first of all, thank you very much for your hard work.
I've tried to update mi Mi5s to this week released i have found some problem i couldn't manage to fix that made me return to the old release.
After i updated the phone when i tried to make call over VoiP which is the only way free on my carrier in spain to make phone calls the phone goes mute, i don't hear the person on the other side of the line, neither they listen to me. And so on, he phone after trying to call don't reproduce any sound not a single one. I have to reboot to make it work again.
If i made a normal call it works flowlessly but they charge me a lot for this kind on calls.
Anyone is suffering the same problem??
Could it be fixed in anyway?

Same here, reboot fixed it. Strange that you need to reboot after the update reboot

- fixed 2x zoom issue
MI5:
- fixed random reboots

Mi 6 2x zoom same as before,work only 2x digital zoom on One camera.second camera is off. Dual camera work only in manual mode.

Does anyone know how to solve this?

Miss the led notification light, it could change to any color on my mi4c. On the mi6 goes only white, you could update the times, so that goes again.

Okay, seems I found a workaround. Try to download the app from Amazon Underground again and try to install until the error popup appears. Switch to a file manager, e.g. ES File Explorer with root permissions and go to

/data/data/com.amazon.mShop.android/files

Look for an update-XX.apk and copy this apk somewhere else where you dont need root permission to access and install the APK from there. Maybe there is an easier solution, or it will be fixed with the next ROM release but as of now this seems to work for me.
