Hello there,
i am now to this forum so excuse if this question might be dumb. But i think i found an issue with that Rom. When the screen is locked and i am getting a gmail notification i cannot see anymore for with email account - it is just empy showing that there is a new mail. This was correct in the former release but not adter upgrade to android 7.0
any ideas how to fix that? i really enjoyed this information on the lockscreen.

I have the same problem with my Mi5s:
I can not see the partial content of Gmail messages anymore, both in lock-screen notification and in notification pop-up, while now I can see just the "x new messages" line.

it seems this issue has been reported at least since MIUI 8.2.2 version.

I cant seem to flash this - neither weekly nor stable! Using updater app, choose it, decrypts it, reboots into TWRP , then just sits on homepage of twrp. Try then to install and it says zip file corrupt?! Its not the file as ive tried two different ones now. could you help?

As said before, you must use TWRP not Updater to flash this version.
Boot directly into TWRP and execute the whole installation from there.

If the file is really corrupted you may want to try downloading it again.

I followed your steps to enable custom grid layout but still cannot succeed in getting it to work. I did the following on my Mi5s 3/64:

• Selected the "Default" theme
• Then I went to "Home Screen & Recents", but still I cann't see any option such as "Home screen layout".

Same problem on my phone. I was able to solve it. Reboot your phone and you will be able to delete the fingerprints. Make sure to create new ones.

EDIT: For me the fingerprint scanner in this version works worse than in 8.0.3.0, 8.2.4.0 and 8.5.2.0.
