MIUI 9 7.8.31

I currently have this rom, with twrp v.2.8.6.0. There is my doubt, to update the rom to Android 7, I downloaded the rom to the memory of the mobile, and to install it, I can only enter from this recovery. As there would have to be, install this rom with this version of the recovery and then install the twrp leo 7?

Currently the twrp version I have is v.2.8.6.0. I tried to update the rom first to version 7.8.31 from this version of twrp, but it gives me this error. And then the phone goes into a loop on the home screen and does not start and restart, so it can be more than an hour.

"persist.camera.HAL3.enabled=1" in the end of build.prop or it doesn't work anymore ?

after exit from split screen , the "Exit SplitScreenMode" is staying on every screen. to remove that need to restart the phone. that was like this in last two updates mi4c.

That build.prop modification enables Camera2 API but it has a side effect the means front camera image will be upside down.

Install below zip via TWRP recovery for enable Camera2 APi properly. It works fine without front camera upside down issue:

got similar issue the past week with 7.8.17 rom. Solved the problem removing sim, replacing with another carrier, booting, then reinstall original sim, it worked.
I had this issue while roaming.

Right now I just installed xiaomi.eu_multi_MINotePro_6.12.22_v8-5.1.zip this rom, which is the one I already had. The phone reboots, I have the twrp v.2.8.6.0, booloader unlocked. So far all good, the problem comes from there, does not let me flash the rom 7.8.31 nor the twrp 7 ...
