Since MIUI9 my E-Mail does not sync in background anymore. I enabled the settings for energy saver in settings -> battery -> energy -> (system apps) E-Mail to "No restrictions". But did not solve the issue.
Additional I changed the rights for Autostart to ON for E-Mail
Via WIFI I have no issue.

Any idea?
 
ota working fine ,I just received the rom, but again no wallpaper carousel

I just installed the update. I found a small bug. when I open the call log or the contacts above for a fraction of a second a black band where instead it should be green. was already present with update 7.9.7. I have a mix.
 
a question: is it normal that if the silent mode is active and make a number with the numeric keypad, do you hear the same sounds?
 
Updater and MiVideo don't have other languages e.g. Chinese, only show English

You can keep using the MIUI 8 silent mode by editing the device properties file, the idea is to change the the value "support_new_silentmode" to false.

Hey, I have the same model and the latest miui 7.9.14 without any GPS issues. Tried a reboot? Good luck

I would like to congratulate the modders for their work.
Here is my problem.​
I have mido (redmi note 4 snapdragon) and i flashed the stable HMNote4X ROM.
I have Android 6 and official Global Rom from my store was 6 and when i unboxed it i updated it to Android 7 Nugat.
Here are my Questions.​
  1. Is this the same ROM as my vendor's Global Version?
  2. Are there any links for official ROMs for note4 and not note4X?
  3. Can i change the model number to "Redmi Note 4"

Hey! Just received a MI5 from my brother.
It has an old ROM. Miui 8 with Android 6.
My question is... Should i update as is told in here or I just install it as a new ROM, wiping data, cache, system and all of that?

Which file do you mean? I can find no mention of this anywhere.
