How about add this feature on MIUI for better/improved security:

Disable POWER BUTTON on lock screen or remove power off, restart, airplane mode on the power option.

This is very important, how are we supposed to track the phone or ring the phone when its been stolen and can be easily turned off. This has been MIUI's dilemma for years.

Missing the point of this request!....switching off through hardware button will remain enabled anyhow, therefore from my perspective no benefit. If hardware button would be disabled, how to turn-off or start into bootloader when phone got frozen?

Wait, what? So you'll just be ok if someone wants to rob you and turn off the phone without any problem? I mean, hell. Almost everyone has BL unlocked so kiss your phone after that.

Regarding your point, that's really up to you if you're phone gets frozen. You have passcode, password, faceid, fingerprint. It's like 0.1% your phone will get frozen. Even if it gets frozen, I'd rather wait 5 days before it gets unlocked than an unsecured lockscreen.

Turning the power button totally off is not necessary really, it would be fully sufficient to require the password before shutting off from the lock screen.
