Mi 8 working fine. Without any issues. But you should go to the assistant settings inside the Google app and not through the MIUI settings IMO. Also worth mentioning I'm using the Google app beta version. Google for how to participate in the beta program. Easy to do...

I'm using the beta too and setting the app through Google settings. No way to enable voice recognition of ok Google

Anyone has problems play ing simpsons tapped out?
When i start the game he closes imediatly when downloading updates and gives me this log file.

I think battery drain issue somehow relates to fast charging. I used allow charging today and it seems like it is running well now.
When I fast charge I get this quick drain.
A 2nd hypothesis is that it relates to overcharging.

Hello, will I have a problem if move from this version to the stable one. My phone is Redmi 5 plus and the weekly build is Android 8.1, the stable is 7.1. I want to sell my phone, but prefer to sell it with stable.

Hi guys,

OK Google works fine on my Mi8 but I can't unlock my phone using Voice recognition even if it's enabled on Google paramters.
Other thing, is it possible to sync the media volume with my bluetoothdvices like iPhones do ?

As many users, I also have a battery drain. With the same use I had about 40-50% at the end of the day with 8.11.23 and since I installed 8.11.30 if I'm lucky, I go to bed with about 5-10% but most of the time I need to charge it before.

I found on youtube a version who work on my mi8 also with this relaise
pleasse see the guide becouse you will download two file, the fist must be flash from magisk and the second from trwp .

@ingbrzy I know deadline for language xml update is over (Wed GMT), but I just updated my language because language team leader too busy, he just merge my commit some minute ago, can you help me to update for this week release? Vietnamese is my language. Thanks so much

Why are not they working or located in this Xiaomi mi 5x.

Mi 8 has some problems with GPS. It's like on MIUI pro or MIUI Revolution. GPS hangs after usage, and no other option to hard reboot phone by holding power button. Soft reboot hangs the phone. This worked fine until 8.12.6. Please fix it in next release. Not sure about 8.10.30 but on 8.10.23 it worked fine.

Dunno if it's EU optimizations and whatnot but I'm from EU so that shouldn't matter or just make it better not worse.
