Have you add notification in statusbar? For mi 8 notch
Go to Settings > Notifications & Status bar > Show notification icons and toggle it on :)

Now if you mean they adapted it to the notch, I don't really know, I guess it follows original Chinese ROM

Hi everyone.
Actually, my Rom installed is 9.6 by Xiaomi.eu 8.5.3 Beta (weekly).
I would want to know if via TWRP , I can do this without data and root loss.
1) Boot in TWRP mode
2) Wipe Dalvik / ART Cache
3) Install 8.6.14
4) Wipe Dalvik / ART Cache
5) Reboot
6) Boot in TWRP mode
7) Wipe Dalvik / ART Cache
8) Install SuperSU-v2.82-201705271822.zip
9) Wipe Dalvik / ART Cache
10) Reboot

Thanks for help.

Magisk has been the Root method of late.
I wouldn´t waste my time with SU even though it was a good option a few years back.

mi mix 2
install this and makisk 16.3
reboot command and restart to recovery
method for root ?
