That means if you wipe everything (amongst others "system" ) after rom installation then the os is missing and you cant boot.

You can now use "adb push rom-image-name.zip /sdcard" -> then choose the rom in root of sdcard in twrp and install it.

So in order to help you, you have to describe in detail what you did.

Hi Community,

I am on XM8 and got TWRP 3.2.2 installed, I am also experiencing Boot loop as well.

I have first installed the MIUI DEV ROM and then the XIAOMI.EU ROM.
I have made the Wipe /data partition and re-installed but still in the same Boot loop.

Any idea what else to do ? Thanks a lot!

Hi @ingbrzy . First of all thanks for the miui 10 on mi note 3. The rom works perfectly. The only shortcomings I have noticed at the moment are these: there is no badge for notifications in the upper left corner of the lockscreen. And the notification counter in the home always marks 2 messages even if it is actually 1. I also hope that the portrait mode for the front camera will be implemented. However, congratulations, the rom is smooth and there are no crashes. Thank you.

Google play store is repeatedly crashing for me. Not happened to you?

I did it yesterday without any issues (even the calculator works fine), so the file for MAX2 is fine.

1. Yes, but only on Oreo (8.0+), and exclusively on our ROMs. To do so, go to Settings -> Installed apps -> Messaging -> Notifications -> Messaging.
   There you can change "Default notification sound" to anything you like.

Can we expect a solution for this problem on nougat roms? My HM4X is still (and I think will be officially forever) on 7.1.

In fact, you can disable this sound by manually removing /system/media/audio/ui/relieve.ogg file (using TWRP, if you're not rooted). It's safe to remove and will be removed in next releases, as most people aren't fans of that sound.

Hi @ingbrzy what exactly should I wipe in TWRP before and after installing the rom - last time I got bootloop and had to install fastboot rom. My phone is Mi note 3 running Global stable rom.
