Sizes of Mi4 distibutives from the androidfilehost and OTA are different, 364MB vs 733MB, which of them right?

I found a post concerning OK Google where the user states that he was able to make it work by setting the Language and the Region to English (US) :

I wasn't able to test this because as you said, the Region has been removed for stability purposes which I understand. Could you confirm that the reason OK Google isn't working is not because of the Region?

I use it a lot while I'm driving and not being able to make it worked is a bit of a hassle. I only found two posts where someone was able to fix it. The first stated that you need to change the status of the Google Assistance app to a System App. The second is the one mentioned above.

Also, on my Mi 8, when I access the Region from the search bar in the settings, it says that I'm set to China (System) but everywhere I see that the default Region is Poland. I saw a couple of post of other Mi 8 users but they are a minority. Could you confirm that this is normal?

Thanks!
I'm not set the "China (System)" in Region, I'm on Poland region and there's no issues with OK Google here. Works fine.
So there is no way to try some of the features blocked in my country :(
Why would that have anything to do with MIUI's Region?

My understanding was the Region is set by the ROM when installing it. If mine is set to China (system) on my Mi8, does this mean that I didn't flash my phone properly?

Edit: Any Chinese Mi8 owners out there that could confirm if their region is set to Poland or China (system)?

Edit2: I tried getprop as mentioned in another post to retrieve information attached to the labels ro.miui.mcc, mnc and region in order to view the region set on my phone but none of the three entries could be found. So I proceeded to do as ingbrzy said to another user in order to have the correct region (post here under) but that didn't change anything to the getprop command line. The three entries still can't be found. The only result i got is that when searching Region in settings, I'm unable to open the window where I use to see China (system).

Code:
[ro.miui.mcc]: [9460]
[ro.miui.mnc]: [9999]
[ro.miui.region]: [CN]

delete content of your /cust partition in TWRP.. you have set wrong region..

Hey guys , I just have a question concerning quickcharge 3.0 . Does it work with this rom and how is possible to check if its working ?

View attachment 20191I ended up having the same issue as another user reported. I found out today because I usually use just 3 pages on the launcher (miui), and these appeared on another page. I grouped them into a folder, they can't be uninstalled, and they don't appear in dual apps, you can't even select them.
Not bothering me that much, just saying. :)

Mi Mi5 too!!!

I just installed the new re-uploaded Rom for Mi5.
Everything seems good and smooth.
I installed Magisk and passed safetynet. Also fingerprint works fast.

Thank you Developers.

Ps, about that icon that keeps appearing when you use the cleaner. I had that problem in the previous version. But not with this new Rom.

Edit: Next day that icon appeared again after using the cleaner. Its disabled but keeps showing. So you guy's know.

Hi all.
Mi5 issue. Since 8.8.2 I can't download the rom from Updater, because it FC. I have to download manually, put into sd and install normally via twrp. Any fix suggestion?
Thanks

Are you able to say "OK Google" without pressing any key/button to bring up Assistant wiht Mi 8? A lot of us with Mi 8 can't get that to work.

Yes I can. Of course, I had to enable it first in Settings -> Google -> Search -> Voice -> Voice Match -> Access with Voice Match.
