8.8.23 MI4c - still random reboot. I noticed it on taking pictures and almost on every call.

sometimes, when it reboots, it enters in a booting loop that can be interrupt only if I plug in the charger.

Thanks for the response. I did it again using twrp, but is kind of annoying having tom do it if it happens on every update, I dont know how the updater is not working properly.

You can just choose in the updater the update package if you prefer

The problem I am reporting is exactly that, I can't do it via updater because it reboots and does not install it, I had to do it using twrp.

I'm only able to use twrp 3.2.3, and when i plug my phone to the pc in twrp mode it crashes and reboots, and when i flash the ROM i get a android bootloop, even though i did a complete wipe. What can i do?

it seems that you have some hardware problem.
to be 100% sure just make clean install original chinese dev rom.
if it works fine (it works fine on my mi4c) flash twrp and eu rom again.

Set region for example to RU (Russian)
There will be 4G instead LTE

Hi guys I have a Mi 8 in fullscreen mode (with gestures instead of buttons).
Today I have noticed that during a call, gestures are not working, making it impossible to switch to any other app during the call.
Is this working as intended?

Is anyone else having issues with proximity sensor on Mi Mix2S? When I am done with a call I have to reset it to factory defaults and delete all the screenshots I made. (It stays on and is operated by my ear...)
It makes the phone basically useless for calls.

Do you have a non official case?
If yes, the case is the problem. Is covering the ultrasonic proximity sensor.
You need to make a cut in the case.
