8.8.16 for Mi6 is public... ;)

but
- SafetyNet still does not pass
- SystemUI crashing alot ;(

I think, If I have time this weekend, I will downgrade to Miui9 again
Is you do not trust com.scottyab.safetynet.sample , you can do simply check. Add your debit/credit card to google pay. :)

Hello again everyone. Using 8.8.9 in my santoni without issues. Running smoothly and stable. Thanks to all devs.

Questions:
1. Why is it there is com.mediatek.batterywarning? Just curious. Is it santoni a snapdragon?
2. Is it possible to update santoni to atleast miui10 oreo?

Thanks. Waiting for the new update. Awesome devs.

Strongly not upset because of the fact that 8.8.16 will not go on mi max 2.
I do not know what the Chinese did, but 8.8.9 compared to 8.8.2 became much more productive and faster to work with. This version is like, very responsive.
Same for mi5

MI6, 8.8.16, some FCs, e.g. systemui and WhatsApp. I will try to grab logs.

Log4: http://rgho.st/private/7TQkwGGjt/f7d7d0d4f337656348fb9ae87c50dac6
(Log4: Mi6 just in standby every few minutes it crashes)

Magisk 16.7 SafetyCheck does not pass too.

But SafteyNet Helper does pass
which language are you using? try set EN...

I am using german too,
I set it to english now... lets see if it crash too...

@muff99 u cant trigger/force the crash it happends randomly... in standby, whatsapp, settings...

edit:
@ingbrzy

english language seems much more stable, no System UI crash yet,

but an other crash: "Updater has stopped working" when I opened settings/all specs
but just once yet till now

edit2:
still no SystemUI Crash with english language

I'm using 8.8.2 on my Mi5, but that topic is already closed.

I noticed a lot more bluetooth headphone disconnects than before, maybe a bug with the connectivity?

I had this exact error initially. Solution is format storage (that option with "Yes" in the wipe menu)
U need to completely format data with the "YES" confirmation, I got the same issue the first time.
Hey guys,
thanks for this hint!
The phone booted up, but I think, the keyboard does not work in locked mode to enter the WPA-key for my WiFi to unlock my device. Unfortunately also I cannot enter my PIN before having unlocked my phone. :D
But with a little trick (deleting my Guest WiFis key, I could unlock the device.

Lol I had the same issue. In one of the screens there's a place where you can input your ID or something like that. The keyboard works there so you input your wifi password, copy or cut, then go back to the wifi screen and paste and voilà.

My device is Note 5 pro 8.8.9
1. When I delete the screenshot in gallery. Then use zalo (sms, call via internet) to send the image, the deleted screenshot still exists
2. I use vietnamese language. But my lockscreen pass code display english.
Sorry because my english is bad.

Hey, I have a "Power Button press till display is enabled lag" :)

On 8.8.9 and now on 8.8.16 too, on a MI6

which language are you using? try set EN...
I am still on german language trying to figure out the cause of the FCs, I grabebd a logcat after the latest crash, here are the exceptions I found regarding systemui:

Both happen periodically, but i dont see why this crashes systemui.

Then I see a crash connected to my twitter client which results in a "Shutting down VM":
