Its the " new" fastboot picture. You are in the fastboot already. Just plug in your USB cable and run the fastboot command

No more android MI rabbit. My MI 8 have the same icon too since stable MIUI 10 eu

0. Backup settings and applications to internal storage. Sync everything.
1. Copy ROM.zip to internal storage
2. Install latest TWRP 3.2.3-0 V8 (you can find it on XDA)
3. Boot to recovery
4. Wipe all: cache, dalvik/ART, data, system
5. Install ROM
6. Reboot to system
7. Restore from backup. Sync everything

In step 4 you did "factory reset"......what a misleading post. Yes, you can keep "internal storage data", but anyway, "factory reset" is a must for installing this rom on mix 2s, we have to install all apps again.

Yesterday I had a battery drain with "android system" in mi8. Also the phone was very hot.
My battery improve drastically after do 3 things:

- Remove my custom MP3 ringtones and set a default preinstalled tone.
- Disable Google backup in settings/adicional settings/backup and restore/Google backup. This action don't disable the Google Sync option (contacts, notes, favoritos...)
- Wipe dalvik and cache in TWRP.

Now the phone runs cold and battery returned to previous versions levels.

I set my customs mp3 ringtones as usual, yesterday when using Mi8, the tones starting to sound glichy and after return to notifications and sounds options, I notice that notifications tone was set to mp3 but default tone was playing in its place. Something like phone was unable to play my custom mp3 and switch to default by itself.
After this phone started to be hot and see a high battery drain related to "Android system", I set my mp3 again and after a few notifications failed again and I decided to switch to defaults notifications, call tones. And no problems since this.
Maybe not common to all user but It's my problem and my resolution.

Clean flash on Mi8 - everything is working great! (at least out of the functions I am using) - Android auto FINALLY on full screen again in my car, battery drain is quite nice. GPS is working ok. I dont know how can I set live wallpaper on lockscreen.
FINALLY I can use my phone after soooo long.
