No fingerprint unlock in settings for my Mi5s, apart from that ok so far.

Dirty flashed over last week's rom, dalvik & cache wipes & a couple of reboots.

bro does the AOD switch off after 10 minuts of not using the device? iam facing this on my mi8 se even i turn off all restriction scenarios,

Well, you do know the EU roms are essentially xiaomi's roms (but modified to remove crapware). So there really is no need to get sad about (nor look to complain about) something that isn't the Xiaomi EU teams fault.

Sounds like a you problem. No need to complain. Either choose your theme or use the dark mode (which was already reported to be INCOMPLETE in the first post!!)
