Mine stuck at boot image when I apply latest magisk 20.0 with TWRP...hi all. I know it is against the rules but I cannot find any info about successful rooting with magisk Xiaomi Mi8 with this ROM. When I try to apply latest magisk 20.0 with TWRP I enter fastboot mode automatically after the restart. Please provide info is rooting possible
From what version have you updated to this one?Mi8SE Dirty flashed succesfully with 3.3.1 twrp. So far it works great. Thanks devs.
I can confirm this.. In Google maps the location indicator never shows the correct location and it is always shifted. The location accuracy cannot be adjusted yet in Mi8 Rom 9.10.24 (9.10.17. also).

I had the same problem with my mi9t flash magisk uninstaller in twrp It will work that's what I did after last dirty update.Mine stuck at boot image when I apply latest magisk 20.0 with TWRP...
It cannot be adjusted on Android 10 in general, not just MIUI. Either way, nothing we can do about it.The location accuracy cannot be adjusted yet in Mi8 Rom 9.10.24 (9.10.17. also).

Or we'll decide ourselves.Like you... I prefer new design, some prefer the old one... IMO devs should leave new one or make a setting to choose between both

i did this and the device stuck on the fastboot mode... , Only format data , wipe all (not system and otg!) and update to 9.10.24 , before the reboot flash twrp 3.3.1 , only this steps help me to load the new version!Hi!
1. Flash Pitch Black Recovery (link to download: https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-8-se/how-to/pitchblack-twrp-available-t3939555)
2. Flash new update 9.10.24 (don't need to clean flash, but it's recomended)
3. Reboot to system
4. Device will laging on lockscreen around some minutes. Just wait and type the PIN to unlock.
How did u update it ?mi mix3 now can not turn off the Bluetooth.
I got an mi CC 9 from china with a crap global rom and I just backed everything up on cloud storage and flashed xiaomi.eu rom with twrp with a clean install.. format data and factory reset and its working brilliant, I had the xiaomi.eu rom zip file on my sd card so just install it from there and boot into system and all's goodI have a Mi8 china version but the store where I bought it already unlocked the bootloader and installed a custom one which pretends to be Global, but I want to remove and replace it by xiaomi.eu.
I see that in the devices table in first post the Rollback Protection is not present for Mi8, but I'm not sure what does this means, if this is related with this xiaomi.eu version in particular or with Mi 8 in general
My question is: can I simply flash the xiaomi.eu ROM using TWRP? Or is there any risk that the device gets bricked?
And if yes, do I need to install MIUI xiaomi.eu 10 first or can I go directly to 11 ?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks, but it's not working on my Mi9. I still get the notification...Uninstall Facebook, turn off device, turn on device, reinstall Facebook. This step solved the problem for me on Mi 9.
