@Igor Eisberg
Ciao Igor,
You are back to the coal mine? fine.
I know you have a MI8, how do you make encryption working on the latest (Android10) weekly?

I can't imagine MI8 owners going without any encryption....
Happy new year to the team.

Right! It is to say in french: back to a very hard and dangerous work like coal mine was.
And so the forum is...
In the mean time I finished to get encryption working with fstab modification as we did in the past on pie rom.
skip my early question on the subject.

thats why i used the word "support" instead of "activate" lol

by the way there is a thread in xda about adding lte band without hardware but its not updated, its so old...
or maybe that trick doesnt work thats why its abandoned
If it is the thread about Band 20 on Mi5, I can confirm that it was abandoned due to hardware - the components support B20, but the printed circuit board does not have tracks and pads for the required pins.

Nope not working.. Reinstalled granted all permission still not working. All other apps gps location works..

Maybe a root or bootloader unlocked detection which blocking the app? I don't use this app... :(

My Uber app unable to detect location. Anyone having same problem? Mi max 3
happy new year
maybe this is the reason, due to different permission manager/package installer app of this rom version many apps lost the permissions, i think

Not sure if this is helpful, but on Mi Note 10 (Global/EU) model I cannot boot this, or the stable version.

Tried 3 recovery.
OrangeFox [ OrangeFox-Unofficial-tucana-20191120 ], mauronofrio [ twrp-3.3.1-0-tucana-mauronofrio ], TWRP-3.3.1-1118-XIAOMI_CC9PRO-CN-wzsx150).
Tried 3 roms.
xiaomi.eu_multi_MINote10_MICC9Pro_V11.0.3.0.PFDCNXM_v11-9
xiaomi.eu_multi_MINote10_MICC9Pro_V11.0.5.0.PFDCNXM_v11-9
xiaomi.eu_multi_MINote10_MICC9Pro_9.12.26_v11-9

None worked.
1) Flash TWRP
2) Boot TWRP
3) Format Data
4) Reboot into TWRP
5) Copy over the Xiaomi.EU rom to phone
6) Flash
7) Reboot
8) Doesn't boot even after 30 mins of wait

Again, might not be helpful, might be the wrong forum just thought I'd post it out there. And yea I tried every recovery, with all these rom versions. No dice.
Phone is unlocked, no lock, no nothing on it. Wanted to have a .eu rom on it, so I wouldn't have to wipe again later on when the firmware becomes more stable for this phone.

Sounds strange...

Well, you wrote that you did a "Format". Are you sure or was it only a wipe like ingbrzy assumed?
Another (perhaps strange) idea: Are you sure having a Note 10 and not a Note 10 Pro? I think they are different....
