Waiting for the official twrp image for Mi9t because I've tried to install eu rom like I did usually after unlock, with the unofficial "davinci", it was a complete failure, got "softbricked" my device. I can't understand the procedure everybody is using right now, so I prefere waiting until official twrp comes out !

Edit : too bad because I really miss eu rom since I'm using it from my Mi Max 2, then 3...

Maybe soon !

hi guys, I have a problem with mi 9
I have the trwp twrp-3.3.1-35-cepheus, with rom xiaomi.eu

I can't add the new version 9.8.8, I tried to solve the write problems on the vendor partition, error 7, (e2001 failed to update the vendor image) I also tried to delete the data, cache, dalvik and system but I have the same error and the phone always restarts in fastboot.

I put the trwp back, various versions, but the same error, install the previous xiaomi.eu rom, the flash goes well and the phone starts normally.

with the command C: ab> adb push xiaomi.eu_multi_MI9_9.8.8_v10-10.zip / storage
adb: error: impossible to get the feature set: no device / emulator found

instead the phone is recognized with adb fastboot command

It seems k20 pro on the latest beta the crash with ok Google is fixed. Could be because of the new Android version requiring different versions of gapps

Google Pay not working I can't add any of my credit card, no netflix availabe in the play store.
DRM wideline L3 instead of L1.
Max HDCP Level Supported : None
What should I do ? Is it normal to have Wideline L3 on the Mi 9 ?

I used to have twrp-3.3.1-35-cepheus.img - now it`s gone, cause no Q encryption support. But on Pie + twrp-3.3.1-35-cepheus.img i flashed Q just from it.

U FLASH VIA TWRP OR ADB?

Works well on Mi8. Language is set to english, otherwise the battery usage stats will crash.

Thanks for the release. Battery drain introduced in 9.8.1, even though it was rather minimal, seems to be fixed. All fine for me so far!

For me, Assistant doesn't work at all. I could access Assistant through the search bar and through the power button in 9.8.1 but in 9.8.8 I can't access it at all.

Hi, it's 2 hours that i am triyng to resolve. i have installed this room today on 2 phones : mi6 and mi9SE, but seems that grid icon layout is missing ( ex. 4x5..). i have changed language from italian to english and again to italian, and home screen layout was changed, some icons was gone in the other page of the home screen.
What i can do ? can i go back to previous weekly to set the grid icons, select what i want and flash the last weekly ?

Hello, now that you update to Android Q on your Mi 9. I suppose you bootloader is still unlocked, what is your wideline statut L1 or L3. For me it is L3 !

The German Repo is already fixed!
I would fix it by myself, but i cant get recompiling the SecurityCenter.apk to work?

Is it possible that you recompile the APK and upload it?
Would be nice, not needing to wait till next friday.

You can install Magisk by going to TWRP - Advanced - Install root. Then reboot and update it through Manager.

It's normal to have L3 due to the ROM being based on the China dev ROM.
