[APP] Mi2raw – enables capturing real raw!

Your effort is certainly appreciated, but without knowing under what licence these were released, their use would be questionable - at least.

Great job, looks very nice, but I would ditch the Mi logo though. Not even because of the trademark issue, but less is more.

Amazing work! I would definitely use it.
I have to ask several questions prior using it, to be safe on the legal side:
1. Are there any licence restrictions on the icon or on any of its components (e.g. patterns, textures and etc.)?
2. Could you please share the same icon without the MI logo? Although I like it more with the logo, I have to check whether I can use it or not. I don't think there will be any objection from Xiaomi side though.

i did some fine tuning on the icon.. here it is with and without MI logo..

For some reason, it seems like MI2raw gets stuck when taking a photo with Multilang MIUI ROMS starting 4.6.20
I don't know why and what leads to that. I'm working on fixing it (the fix will be a part of the next version) - so for now avoid using the mentioned ROM versions if you plan to capture raw.

Xiaomi (MIUI) gently ignores me...
I'm doing my best and trying new approaches these days. Once something will be clear I'll publish the new version

SOLVED!
The solution for now:
Flash this https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/41573943/mi2raw_fix_signed.zip using the updater.

A brief how-to:
1. Download the file
2. go to updater

3. tap setting


4. select installation pack


5. update


6. reboot


Do it each time you update the rom

unfortunately since i updated my phone with the mi2raw zip above some of the apps keep crashing like gallery, updater etc. i can't even update from 4.7.18 to 4.7.25.
as much as i like to use mi2raw, but i prefer to have a stable phone - is there a way to "undo" the mi2raw update? even my 2nd partition keeps crashing

Don't worry, seems like a not wiped cache issue. So you should just wipe cache

More comprehensive approach:
(0. back up just in case....)
1. In recovery (power & vol+), go to wipe and perform "wipe cache" (harmless, you can read here: http://forums.androidcentral.com/droid-razr/343560-what-exactly-wipe-cache-partition.html)
2. install again 4.7.25
3. reboot
4. repeat step 1
5. install mi2raw_fix_signed
6. reboot
7. repeat step 1

You are right. The problem is that the fix is singed to 18.7.4 and not 25.7.4

Next week I'll release a new version with an always working patch, so please be patient till then.

Those of you who see the dialog which asks you to update because the app might not work:
Do not click update if you use a ROM other than JB (4.1).

1. Which version do you have? 2.6 or 2.7?
2. Which ROM do you use?

Anyway, in recovery choose to reboot to the 2nd partition
