Area name bug

I'm from Russia and I'm using an English translation. Russia and Kazakhstan have the same area code +7, so every local phone number have an area name "Russia \ Kazakstan", so in call log I saw "+79609.... Russia \ Kazakhstan". As you see the number is not full.
Is there a way to make the area name shorter, for example "Rus \ KZ" or "Rus \ Kaz"?
