Cannot open a conversation on blocklist

I have activated blocklist feature to block spam messages. It works properly until I cannot open a conversation (thread) from one sender, so I unable to read the messages. Surprisingly, I can open the others. Anyone can suggest me how to fix this? Or suggest any apps that can read all messages, both in inbox and blocklist? I have tried Handcent SMS and Google Hangout; those only read message on inbox. Thank you ...
