Hi, I have a Redmi 8 4GB RAM.
It had xiaomi.eu_multi_HM8_V11.0.10.0.PCPCNXM_v11-9.zip.
Today I updated to xiaomi.eu_multi_HM8_V11.0.1.0.QCNCNXM_v11-10.zip and couldn't decrypt /data from twrp. I didn't bother much but after a few reboots now android won't decrypt /data as well. Symptoms are:
1)No SystemUI
2)Can only launch settings, other apps will have "please wait for your device to be fully rebooted"
3)Not asking for PIN or biometrics
4)Lots of "not found" in logcat
5)Directories are encrypted, checked with adb shell ls ....

Do I really have to format /data? i'd prefer not to.
thanks

Is it android version update (Android Pie to Q)? If it is you should wipe your data partiton.

Hello, you should try to install latest TWRP (or OrangeFox) version, don't "Format Data" (if not too late...). ;)

even with latest orangefox, should "format data" after install or (de)encrypt won't work (in orange).
