Just sharing for the people that dont know it already.

I tried it and it works good. Also flashed the latest xiaomi.eu IDO rom with it.
After unlocking your bootloader, you go into fastboot and run the flash.bat in a dox box.
After flashing phone boots into TWRP and ur all set.

So, i think its best to use this one.

I can't flash it directly from Updater app.
I am on 6.3.17 china developer rom (with root and UNLOCKED bootloader)

I think its described clearly.
Reboot in fastboot mode and flash it

Check 2nd post.

After "fastboot flash recovery TWRP_3.0.0-0-ido.img" recovery install run "fastboot boot TWRP_3.0.0-0-ido.img" to boot TWRP recovery, i think it should disable Mi Recovery install script.

The trickiest part was figuring out which one was the button to get to languages settings - I used CWM for a while before buying this Redmi3. On XDA everything is explained clearly anyway.

In your home screen press vol+vol-and power at rhe same time all together and keep them pressed until your phone swich off and release them ONLY when Mi logo appears.
You must be in TWRP now!!!
